Wynne Evans has made a series of sensational claims about his time on Strictly Come Dancing. The Go Compare star was on the show in 2024 but his time on the programme was plagued by scandal.

During the show, he and professional dance partner Katya Jones hit the headlines when they carried out a “body language experiment” where he grabbed her waist and she pushed his hand away. He alleged that it was part of an experiment and both of them later apologised for the ‘joke’ gone wrong.

Following that, Wynne was suspended from the Strictly tour after he allegedly used the word ‘spitroast’ in a joke about Janette Manrara during a press call for the tour. He later insisted it was misheard and he had not used it in that context.

Now, Wynne is adamant to speak out and has made a string of claims about his former Strictly co-stars. He said it is not about him anymore and instead, he wants to help others who might appear on the show. It comes after Wynne revealed what he was told by Strictly in a shock statement.

In new barbed comments made on his radio show today, Wynne was grilled on whether he was in contact with any of the Strictly stars. “No I’m not,” he replied. “I’m not in contact with any of them.

“I think that when I was released from the tour, I heard – although this may not be true – that they were told not to contact me. I’ve had a few messages from them since – but not really, now today I’m not in contact with any of them at all.”

He later added: “Katya’s a really nice person, I’m not going to say anything bad about her.” He also said that some of the judges had reached out to him with nice messages, but claimed others wouldn’t speak out because they were scared.

Wynne previously accused Strictly of being “fundamentally flawed in its duty of care”. He was let go by the BBC in May and revealed he would no longer host on BBC Radio Wales after apologising for using “inappropriate language” during the launch of the Strictly tour.

In an Instagram post he shared earlier this week with 2025’s Strictly stars, Wynne accused the BBC of engaging in a series of “lies and cover‐ups in order to absolve themselves of any wrongdoing” and said this was the “hardest part” for him.

He further alleged in his statement that the HR department “twisted facts, invented files and dates, and created a version of events that simply wasn’t true”.

In May, he told the Sun that a comment he made on the Strictly Come Dancing tour was not sexual or aimed at one of the female cast members, but was actually a nickname for fellow contestant, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick. In June, the opera singer announced his comeback to radio with The Wynne Evans Show, a live weekday internet broadcast.

The daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre and Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s son have been recognised amongst Britain’s most stylish individuals this year. Princess Andre, who has featured in reality television programmes with her renowned parents, ranks as the second most fashionable person of 2025, as determined by style and culture publication Tatler.

While Guy Ritchie and Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie, a creative who trained at London’s Central Saint Martins, claims third position on the roster, whilst model and aristocrat Lady Lola Bute and her half-sister, Jazzy De Lisser, share the top spot.

The publication described 18-year-old Princess as possessing a wardrobe brimming with “Y2K revival hits” and “is the face of a new generation of British pop culture royalty”. It comes as the teenager films for a new series about her life.

She boasts over 760,000 Instagram followers and launched her modelling career last year with women’s fashion brand PrettyLittleThing.

Meanwhile, Rocco appears “impeccably tailored on the red carpet at his father Guy’s premieres”, according to Tatler. Backed by fashion powerhouse Giorgio Armani, he staged an exhibition of his creations, entitled The Tourist, in Paris last year.

The roster also features Swarovski heiress Nadja Swarovski and Princess Alexia of the Netherlands, positioned fourth and fifth respectively.

Securing sixth place is Bromley footballer and model Omar Sowunmi, whilst Olympian and Princess Royal’s daughter Zara Tindall claims seventh.

Rounding off the list is Prestwold Hall heir George Packe-Drury-Lowe, ex-tennis player Annabel Croft and internet sensation Zack Pinsent, famed for his flamboyant 19th-century attire.

Meanwhile, Princess, who recently turned 18, is currently filming her fly-on-the-wall show as she promises to give fans a sneak peak into her glamorous life.

The teenager, who also models for fashion brand, Pretty Little Thing, boasts more than 743,000 followers on her Instagram, and has contracts with Superdrug, Studio London, Morphe and Revolution, has vowed to become a ‘millionaire by the age of 20’.

And it looks like she’s getting in some practice for her bumper pay day, after hitting the shops and spending thousands on goods from Louis Vuitton, the Apple store, Charlotte Tilbury makeup and Sephora.

Sharing snaps of the bags from the boot of her car, Princess admitted: “My bank account hates me” as she posted the snap on Instagram. She also shared a photo of luxury store, Louis Vuitton, where its monogrammed bags start from over £1,000.

Meghan Markle has announced the launch of a new vintage of her rosé wine with her lifestyle brand As Ever, with a cryptic Instagram post leaving her fans awaiting the new release.

The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to share the announcement to her loyal fans and customers, sharing that the new twist on the tipple will be available next week.

With the announcement coming in the midst of the Sussex’s dispute with Netflix over their mult-million pound deal , some of Meghan’s critics have shared their thoughts over the new wine being a “cash grab”, while others shared their excitement for the new beverage.

The announcement was shared to the brand’s Instagram page alongside a picture of the new tipple being poured on a beach, as the caption read: “Oh, how we love seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Rosé colored glasses? Perhaps even better. Our new vintage of As Ever’s beloved rosé is available next week.”

More information was shared in the As Ever newsletter, revealing that the new wine is a 2024 Napa Valley rosé, following the successful launch of the 2023 vintage rosé that sold out within minutes.

A message signed by the As Ever team said that the new rosé “marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavor.”

Meghan went on to thank fans for “affirming” their effort in creating the Napa Valley Rosé, as she wrote: “This affirmed all of the love, time and effort our team, and our founder, poured into curating this blend to evoke the sun-drenched spirit of Napa Valley, and the breath-taking tenor of the California Coast.”

At the end of her Instagram caption, Meghan urged those keen to get their hands on a bottle of the new wine to “stay tuned for details and timing”, with the As Ever team no doubt expecting the tipple to sell out in record time.

The news of As Ever’s new restock comes after many royal commentators were quick to shrew their thoughts on what the Sussexes could do next in order to make money after their multi-million pound Netflix deal was scrapped.

After it was rumoured that Harry and Meghan’s $100 million pound deal with the streaming giant was not going to be renewed, several royal commentators speculated that we could see an influx of new projects and products from the Sussexes to subsidise their income.

One such expert, Robert Jobson, even claimed that the rumoured peace talks between the Sussex camp and King Charles could be motivated by them asking for “handouts” from the Firm.

He told The Sun: “Well, the deal was always set at about $100 million, wasn’t it? And the talk of that figure sort of blew a lot of people’s minds, but I think that was for productions and things that they’re supposed to have done.

Broadcaster Kate Garraway is said to sold her second home after being left with “excessive unpayable debt” through caring for her late husband Derek Draper. She’s reportedly sold a property in London for £1.5 million recently.

Kate, 58, has previously spoken about the financial impact of having looked after Derek, who died, aged 56, last year. She’s said to have been facing a debt of up to £800,000 for his care and has reportedly been paying off debts related to his company Astra Aspera, which shut down in 2022.

It’s now been reported that Kate has sold her second home, which is said to be in North London. The news comes following speculation over her future on Good Morning Britain amid upcoming changes at ITV.

According to the Sun, Kate had a property, which it described as a flat, in North London that recently sold for £1.5 million, but it’s said to have been “heavily mortgaged”. A source added that she had been keeping the property as a “financial safety net”.

The source told the outlet: “Kate takes paying off the debts very seriously and she’s always said she’d go to any lengths to achieve that. This is just part of that commitment, even if it does mean she’s had to lose the flat which she actually purchased years ago before meeting Derek and before they bought a family home together. Like many people, she was keeping it as a financial safety net which she thought she wouldn’t have to use so soon.”

The Daily Mail instead reports that the property, which it claims is in the process of being sold, was a three-bed townhouse in North London. It states that it had been up for rent for £6,750-a-month prior to going up for sale.

The Mirror understands that it was a house, rather than a flat, that has been on the market. We also understand that the property has already been sold.

There were concerns last year that Kate would have to sell the home she’s lived in with her two children. The Mail however suggests that this appears to have been avoided though by the apparent selling of her second home.

Derek died in January last year following health issues in recent years, including having been hospitalised for over a year during the Covid pandemic. Kate’s spoken about the cost of his care in the years since he was hospitalised.

In a documentary last year, for example, she said that it was “more than” her salary from ITV. She added: “Unlike the NHS, state-funded social care is only available to people with the highest needs and the lowest means.”

Earlier this year, whilst discussing the challenges she had faced, she said on Good Morning Britain: “One of the overriding ones until he went back into intensive care before he passed away, was dealing with the funding of care. At the time of his death, there were two appeals that hadn’t been heard for funding.

“It kept on getting pushed back and pushed back. In the meantime, and I’m lucky I’ve got an incredible job which is well paid, I was having to fund the situation. Now I’ve got excessive unpayable debt because of it, and if I’m in that position, what else are people going to be?”

Katie Price offered fans an update on her cat’s pregnancy and admits she’s “scared” of what might happen. The former glamour model, 47, shared news of pet Doris’ pregnancy on her podcast alongside sister Sophie.

The update came just weeks after the mum-of-five was scolded by PETA for her treatment of one of her pets. She was accused of “sunburning” one of her Sphynx cats, Kevin. And she has been branded a “serial killer” by the charity over the deaths of at least eight of her animals.

But in her latest offering, Katie explained: “Doris is pregnant, and I don’t know how many weeks she is but her belly has gotten bigger and bigger. I’ve noticed she’s been nesting and she keeps wanting to get on me.

“I’ve gone and brought a separate cat litter, another bed, and all of that. I’m going to set it up in my room and leave her in my room because I’ve got the other cats, and I’m scared that if she goes into labour they might eat the kittens.”

She added: “I’m setting her up a nice little corner in my bedroom with her own cat litter, her own little bed and I’ll feed her separate and I’ll let her chill in here so she can nest in here. So then if she does go into labour, I can hear it and help her and just be there for support.

“I don’t know how many she’s going to have but I know the kids want me to keep one. And then I know what I’m like, I can’t.”

It comes after Peta’s Elisa Allen claimed the former model has repeatedly ignored advice on pet care. She said: “Anyone who warns Katie not to hurt the animals she takes in might as well be screaming into the wind, for all she seems to care.”

And speaking about the alleged cat sunburn, Elisa went on: “And here we go again: her cat is sunburnt – something she was likely warned about when acquiring a gimmick cat, bred to look odd and be hairless.”

Peta revealed cats with “light or no fur can burn easily, which is just one reason to keep them indoors.” They added: “If they do go into a secure garden, apply vet-approved sunscreen and ensure they have plenty of shade. Cat guardians must stay alert, if you spot redness, swelling, or signs of infection, seek veterinary care immediately.”

Katie had claimed her cat had “been in the sun” in a recent social media upload. Stroking the cat in the clip, she said: “Oh Kevin you have been in the sun today, you have got sun burnt despite us putting sun cream on you… look at his little face.”

The caption accompanying the video said: “Trying to keep the cats out of the sun is hard work.”

Peta had previously called for an injunction in a bid to stop Katie from having animals. It also offered the star £5,000 to never acquire more animals, following multiple tragic deaths.

A MasterChef contestant has claimed that she’s been edited out of the programme after objecting to it airing over allegations against Gregg Wallace and John Torode

A contestant on the upcoming series of MasterChef has claimed that she’s been edited out of the show after objecting to it airing over allegations against Gregg Wallace and John Torode. Leeds-based Sarah Shafi revealed that she told producers that airing the show would send the wrong message about the treatment of women.

Earlier this month, Wallace and Torode were both officially sacked from MasterChef after law firm Lewis Silkin upheld 45 out of 85 complaints against Wallace of inappropriate behaviour. It was later announced that Torode’s contract would not be renewed following an upheld complaint of racist language against him – which he’s said he has no recollection of.

The pair will still appear in an upcoming series of MasterChef, which was filmed before Lewis Silkin’s report into the pair’s behaviour. It comes after the BBC confirmed that the MasterChef series featuring Gregg Wallace and John Torode will air on TV after the serious allegations.

In an interview with The Guardian, Sarah said that Banijay offered to edit her out of the show, which she initially rejected but later agreed to be removed. “I didn’t say edit me out,” she said. “I said: ‘Axe the show, don’t air the show. I’m asking you not to air the show.’

“Prominent figures have been abusing their power. What message does that send out to women? For me, it’s about the enabling environment. It’s that complicity. Those individual powerful men do not [act] in isolation. There is an enabling environment, turning a blind eye … It’s about years of these institutions not being accountable.”

A spokesperson for the BBC said: “As we said when we announced the show would be aired, this was not an easy decision in the circumstances and we appreciate not everyone would agree with it. Banijay consulted with all the contestants before that decision was made and there was widespread support for it going ahead.

“We are sorry that this contestant does not support the decision and we are grateful she raised this with both the BBC and Banijay.” The Mirror has reached out to Banijay for comment.

It was announced last Wallace, 60, would step away from MasterChef last year while Lewis Silkin conducted their investigation. He said at the time through a lawyer: “It is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.”

Linda Robson says she’s “worried” about the future of Loose Women as ITV look to make huge savings across its daytime shows. In May it was revealed the much-loved panel show would be axed for half the year as bosses eyed up massive cuts in a bid to save millions.

Birds Of A Feather star Linda, who’s appeared on the show for 20 years, says the threat to its future has left her “praying” it doesn’t get cancelled. “We are all rallying together,” she said. It’s been reported that when budget cuts come into effect in January it’ll mean the show will no longer have A-list guests in the studio and their live audience will be a thing of the past.

There are growing fears the ITV staple could even be cancelled within a year. “It will be very sad if we can’t have guests,” sighed Linda, 67.

ITV is slashing the budgets of its biggest daytime shows including Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, Loose Women and This Morning, including halving the number of jobs and significantly reducing the time some of them are on air. The cuts at ITV Studios, which makes all four shows, mean more than 220 of 440 staff involved will lose their jobs.

“It’s a shame people are losing their jobs,” Linda went on. “We’re all like a family. We’ve been together through births, marriages, deaths. It’s been very hard. Everyone’s worried about the show. We’re just trying to stay positive and hope for the best. But hopefully it’s not going be as bad as it already is.”

The show features a rotating panel of presenters who debate hot topics, big issues and the news of the day. It’s welcomed huge names on as guests like supermodel Naomi Campbell and singer Janet Jackson.

Running since 1999, it is filmed in front of a live studio audience – although recent reports suggest that this has now been cut and will be implemented next year. ITV haven’t confirmed the move.

Fellow Loose Women presenter Nadia Sawalha previously told how everyone was now fearing for their jobs. “What people don’t realise at Loose Women is that we’re self-employed,” she explained.

“I am self-employed. Every contract is a new contract. I could be let go tomorrow. I could be let go in five years. You don’t know because we’re not employees.”

Ella shared a range of pictures of herself and her Nana Maz. One picture showed her and her gran wearing bucket hats with “Buzzing my head off” written on them. The picture was taken in 2022, with Ella sporting her Euros winner medal from that year.

Another picture shows her nan smiling for the camera while wearing a shirt reading “It’s coming home”.

A third picture shows Ella, in her Manchester United kit, hugging her nan, who’s sporting a United scarf. Ella’s father died last year following a battle with prostate cancer.

“’ll miss you forever nan but I’ll cherish the special memories we made, there isn’t enough words I can possibly say to sum up the person you were, but I’m grateful you were my nanna. My football-loving, crazy, funny Nan,” she then continued.

“All those years ago, when you put a bet on at the bookies that I would play for England one day & on the day you leave us, we bring it home again. You always knew it. Say hello to our angels up there, grandad’s been waiting for you for a while,” she then added.

Over the weekend, Coronation Street star Jack and Hanni tied the knot after eight years of romance.

The couple, who got engaged last summer during a holiday in Africa, married at a lavish ceremony in Manchester Cathedral, surrounded by friends, family, and celebrity guests.

Amongst the guests at the ceremony were Jack’s Corrie co-stars, including Tina O’Brien and Alan Halsall, and Celebrity Big Brother star Chris Hughes.

Hanni stunned in a white gown with a full skirt and a white lace top. The dress featured an off-the-shoulder design with long lace sleeves.

Earlier this week, Jack shared a stunning snap of a town built into the side of a mountain at dusk.

Meanwhile, Hanni shared some stunning pics of where they’re staying, captioning them “Amalfi, you have my heart”.

Earlier today (Thursday, July 31), Hanni and Jack shared some more pictures from their honeymoon.

The couple walked the Path of the Gods, a famous hiking trail on the Amalfi coast. The hike offers breathtaking views of the coast and the sea, and is around 7-8km long.

The newlyweds posed for a smiley selfie partway through the hike, giving fans a glimpse at the stunning views behind them.

Hanni also shared a brief clip of the beautiful coastline, as well as a snap of herself posing at the end of the trail.

Yesterday (Wednesday, July 30), Jack and Hanni visited Pompeii, the ancient city that was destroyed during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD.

The star shared a range of pictures of their trip, including one of the couple posing in what used to be wine merchent’s house, some pictures and clips of the city’s ruins, and casts of people who died in the eruption.

The soap star also included a brief clip of Hanni in a bikini, standing in the sea, with a stunning view of the town in the background.

Jack’s dig at the accommodation and Hanni being an ’emotional wreck’

However, it hasn’t all been stunning views, hot weather, and sun-soaked hikes for the couple.

Earlier this week, Jack shared a clip of him and Hanni standing on some decking above the sea, seemingly where they’re staying.

“Little choppy today. A few broken plates,” Jack joked. “A little bit too much chop!” Hanni then added. Jack then showed some of the caves nearby.

“One-Eyed Willy’s cave – where all the gold’s kept. That’s my room up there. Where I’m staying,” he said, before pointing out a tower nearby.

Meanwhile, Hanni revealed in a post that she actually broke down over breakfast. However, it’s not because the food or the holiday is bad!

“WOW. The band at breakfast just broke me by playing Elvis, the song I heard played by the orchestra whilst I was waiting outside the Cathedral before I walked down the aisle,” she explained.

“I’m an emotional, but beautiful, wreck in Italy.”
