EXCLUSIVE: Hamilton Opens Up About His Ferrari Disaster – You Won’t Believe The Disappointment He’s Revealed!

Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari Debut: A Season of Frustration, Missed Opportunities, and Uncertainty

Lewis Hamilton’s arrival at Ferrari for the 2025 Formula 1 season was heralded as a historic moment in the world of motorsport. The seven-time world champion’s move from Mercedes to the iconic Scuderia Ferrari was seen as a potential turning point, not only for Hamilton’s illustrious career but for Ferrari’s bid to reclaim its former glory. Fans around the globe were eagerly anticipating the pairing of the British driver with the legendary Italian team. However, as the season has unfolded, the reality has been far from the dream many had envisioned. What seemed like a promising union has now turned into a season marred by disappointment, communication breakdowns, and missed opportunities.

Fresh hope for Lewis Hamilton after 'huge improvement' spotted by key Ferrari man

Hamilton’s Struggles with Ferrari: A Stark Contrast to His Mercedes Success

Lewis Hamilton’s success at Mercedes was built on a close-knit partnership with his race engineer, Peter Bonington, affectionately known as Bono. Their synergy was almost telepathic, with every instruction and communication being understood with precision. This seamless collaboration was a cornerstone of Hamilton’s dominance, helping him secure seven world championships and 103 Grand Prix victories. The connection between driver and engineer was one of the defining features of Hamilton’s career.

However, at Ferrari, Hamilton has faced an entirely different challenge. Despite his extraordinary talent, he has struggled to build a similar relationship with his new race engineer, Ricardo Adami. From the outset, the relationship has been strained, marked by awkwardness and a lack of the trust that had defined Hamilton’s previous partnerships. The miscommunication over radio during critical moments, coupled with the unfamiliarity of the SF25 car, has left Hamilton frustrated and feeling isolated. It’s not just about the car’s performance on track; it’s about the internal dynamics within Ferrari, which has affected Hamilton’s confidence and his ability to extract the most from the car.

The SF25: A Car That Can’t Meet Expectations

One of the most significant issues Hamilton has faced at Ferrari has been the underperformance of the SF25. As a driver renowned for his technical acumen, Hamilton’s insights and feedback have always been crucial in shaping the development of the car. However, at Ferrari, his technical input has seemingly fallen on deaf ears. Since the pre-season testing at Fiorano, Hamilton had warned the team about issues with the car’s braking system, but his concerns were dismissed.

Ferrari, in their typical ambitious manner, rolled out an upgrade package for the SF25 at the Austrian and Belgian Grand Prix, promising improved performance. Unfortunately, these upgrades have not delivered. The car’s performance stagnated, and in some cases, deteriorated. Even the simulator data, which usually offers a solid representation of a car’s potential, did not match the reality on the track. This failure to deliver on promises has only deepened Hamilton’s frustrations, and the trust between driver and team has continued to erode.

    Strategy Struggles: Ferrari’s Unclear Vision

While the technical issues were a significant part of Hamilton’s struggles, Ferrari’s strategic approach to the season has also been a major source of disappointment. At the start of the season, Ferrari made bold statements about their readiness to compete at the front. However, as the season has progressed, it has become clear that the SF25 is not competitive enough to challenge for race wins.

A key turning point in the season came at the Belgian Grand Prix, where Hamilton was forced to start from the pit lane due to a technical failure. Instead of focusing on improving the current season, Ferrari began shifting their attention to the 2026 car after this incident. This sudden pivot came after a series of underwhelming results, and it left Hamilton questioning the team’s priorities. He had been calling for the team to focus on the long-term development from the beginning of the season, but his voice, like that of his teammate Charles Leclerc, was largely ignored.

    Charles Leclerc: A Frustrated Teammate

Charles Leclerc, Ferrari’s other star driver, has been in a similar situation. A product of Ferrari’s academy, Leclerc has always been seen as the future of the team. However, as the season has progressed, he too has shown signs of frustration. Leclerc has long been aware of the internal complexities and power struggles within Ferrari, and his repeated calls for changes in the team’s technical direction have gone unanswered.

Leclerc’s frustration with the team’s lack of progress is palpable, and if he, a driver so deeply embedded in Ferrari’s culture, is losing hope, what does that mean for Hamilton? The crisis of confidence within Ferrari is no longer an internal issue; it is now being played out in the global spotlight. The team’s struggles have undermined not only their drivers but their status as one of Formula 1’s most successful and revered teams.

Mercedes’ Revival: A Bitter Pill for Hamilton

As Ferrari has struggled, Mercedes has experienced a revival. The Brackley-based team, which had its own share of difficulties in recent seasons, is now showing signs of a much more stable and competitive performance. Mercedes’ focus has shifted to the 2026 car, and early reports suggest that their car development is progressing more smoothly than that of Ferrari’s.

For Hamilton, this presents a bitter reality. The technical decisions he had championed while at Mercedes, which were initially met with resistance, are now proving to be correct. One of the most notable examples of this was Hamilton’s insistence on abandoning the zero sidepod concept—a move that Mercedes initially resisted. As it turns out, Mercedes’ more conventional approach has now led to better performance, further highlighting Hamilton’s technical insight and instincts.

For Hamilton, seeing Mercedes improve while Ferrari stagnates raises an important question: Is he starting to regret leaving the team that helped him achieve greatness? While it may be too early to definitively say, the signs of doubt are beginning to creep in.

The Rise of Aston Martin: A New Rival on the Horizon

Adding to the pressure on Hamilton and Ferrari is the rise of Aston Martin. The Silverstone-based team, which has invested heavily in its future, is emerging as a serious contender. With key figures such as Adrian Newey, Andy Cowell, and Enrico Cardile, Aston Martin has assembled a team capable of developing a competitive car for the new era of Formula 1 regulations. Should Aston Martin’s project come to fruition, it will only add more competition to a grid already full of top-tier teams. For Hamilton, the prospect of facing another strong rival in Aston Martin, along with Mercedes’ improving fortunes, could be the final blow to his hopes of winning an eighth title at Ferrari.

The Road Ahead: Hamilton’s Last Chance?

Despite the many challenges he has faced, Hamilton’s fighting spirit remains as strong as ever. Ferrari has brought in Luca Dalonte from Mercedes to assist with the technical side of Hamilton’s driving style, hoping to rebuild his confidence. However, time is running out. The 2025 season, full of missed opportunities and mistakes, may already be beyond redemption. Hamilton’s chances of winning an eighth world championship could slip away if Ferrari fails to deliver a competitive car for the 2026 season.

For Hamilton, the 2026 season represents his last chance at redemption. If Ferrari cannot provide him with the tools to win, his dream of breaking the record for the most world championships may be over forever. The future of his career—and the future of Ferrari’s Formula 1 project—will depend on the success of their 2026 car. For now, Hamilton must race against time, age, and the internal struggles within Ferrari, hoping that his decision to join the team will not turn out to be the biggest mistake of his illustrious career.

Breaking News: New Renault CEO Drops Major Update on Alpine F1’s Future – Could This Mean the End of an Era?

Speculation has persisted for some time that Renault could be looking to sell the Alpine Formula 1 team which is struggling at the bottom of the constructors’ championship

The new chief executive of the Renault automotive group has said he has no plans to take the company out of Formula 1. Francois Provost has taken over as head of the French carmaking giant from Luca de Meo, whose resignation was confirmed last month.

There have long been rumours swirling that suggested Renault was considering a sale of its F1 team, which races under the moniker of its Alpine sportscar brand. And the exit of De Meo, for whom racing at the pinnacle of motorsport was something of a passion project, only added fuel to those flames.

But his successor has pledged his commitment, for now, to staying in the sport. Despite the outfit’s poor performance in recent times, Provost said competing in F1 remains part of the Alpine brand strategy, as he spoke to reporters to announce Renault’s financial results for the first half of 2025 in one of his first tasks as the new CEO of the company.

Renault considered a swathe of both internal and external candidates for the role, after De Meo announced his intention to leave to take over as head of luxury good group Kering, which owns world-famous fashion brands like Gucci, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent.

Ultimately, the carmaker decided to promote Provost, a Renault veteran of 23 years, from his previous role as head of procurement into the chief executive position. “It is with pride and gratitude that I welcome my appointment,” he said.

“I would like to warmly thank my President, Jean-Dominique Senard and the Board of Directors for the trust they have placed in me. I have a special thought for the teams across the Group who have supported me throughout these past 23 years.

“I will dedicate all my energy and passion to contributing – alongside our 100,000 employees, our dealers, suppliers, and partners – to the development of our Group, one of the flagships of French industry for the past 127 years.

“Renault Group benefits from strong fundamentals, with committed teams, an outstanding range of products, strong brands, and an innovative organisational model. These will be invaluable assets as we accelerate our transformation in an increasingly demanding environment for our industry. You can count on my commitment and determination to write the next page of our history together.”

Provost also becomes the new direct report for Flavio Briatore, who was brought back into the Renault fold by De Meo as a special adviser to the board regarding the Alpine team’s efforts. The Italian has since taken over as de-facto team principal, though not officially by title, since the departure of previous boss Oliver Oakes in May.

But results have been difficult to come by this season and Alpine sit rock bottom of the constructors’ championship, having amassed just 20 points so far this year. They are 15 points behind Haas in ninth place and desperately need both their drivers to start scoring, with Franco Colapinto struggling and all of their points so far in 2025 having been secured by Pierre Gasly.

Big News from Cadillac: After selecting their F1 2026 lineup, the team has opened negotiations with a surprise American driver. What does this mean for the grid? Is this a strategic move to boost their performance or a dramatic change for the upcoming season?

Reports suggested Cadillac had landed on the two drivers they wanted to race for them in Formula 1 in their 2026 debut season, but it seems they remain in talks with other options

Cadillac team principal Graeme Lowdon has to sign two drivers to race for the team in their debut F1 season next year(Image: PA)

Cadillac have not given up on the idea of signing an American driver to race for them when they make their grand Formula 1 entrance. The US-based outfit is forming what will become the sport’s 11th team when it begins racing for the first time next year.

Having only been confirmed as a new entrant in March this year, Cadillac continue to work flat-out to get everything in place. That has meant that, up until recently decisions over their drivers have been on the back-burner – but it seems they have been making significant progress on that front in recent weeks.

Team principal Graeme Lowdon recently named seven drivers under consideration as he discussed his plans during a podcast appearance. Soon after, it emerged that two of them had been selected internally as the preferred choices for the team’s debut season.

Experience is clearly the preferred trait as the two in question are bona fide F1 veterans. Valtteri Bottas, a 10-time race winner with Mercedes, is understood to be in advanced talks, while Sergio Perez is the other preferred option having won races with Red Bull up until the termination of his contract at the end of last season.

But neither of them have put pen to paper yet and, while that remains the case, it would be foolish of Cadillac to rule out all other options. And it seems they are keeping them open for now, especially amid their original desire to field an American driver if at all possible.

Originally, the front-runner in that regard had been IndyCar driver Colton Herta. However, the 25-year-old does not currently qualify for an FIA superlicence which would need to change before he would be eligible to race an F1 car.

But another American option has emerged in recent weeks as the Formula 2 title race has taken shape. Sitting third in the championship ahead of this weekend’s action at the Hungarian Grand Prix is Jak Crawford, from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Previously part of the Red Bull academy set-up, the 20-year-old has been an Aston Martin junior driver since early 2024. But there is no prospect of him being elevated into one of their F1 race seats for 2026, with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll already contracted.

Speaking to Motorsport.com, Crawford admitted that he has held talks with Cadillac about a potential switch if he continues his fine progress in F2. “We’re trying to find any space on the grid, whether it’s with Cadillac or Aston Martin or some other teams,” he said.

“There have been talks, I’ve been talking, but it’s very slow at the moment. From my side, I just need to do a good job in Formula 2. There’s nothing I can do to compete [with the experience of Bottas and Perez]. Actually, the only thing I can do is do well in F2. Other than that, I can’t really do anything else.”

Max Verstappen has decided to remain with Red Bull for the 2026 season, with the Dutchman reportedly having an exit clause in his contract if he wanted to leave

Helmut Marko has confirmed that Max Verstappen will remain with Red Bull next season after the Dutchman chose to stick with his long-standing team. The four-time Formula 1 champion attracted attention from Mercedes, but decided against making the switch from Milton Keynes to Brackley in 2026.

Verstappen’s choice reportedly came over the course of the Belgian Grand Prix weekend, where he secured an unlikely Sprint race triumph before a fourth-placed finish behind the McLaren pair and Charles Leclerc during the main event on Sunday.

According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Verstappen feels ‘comfortable’ with Red Bull’s current setup and has been encouraged by his initial work with new team principal Laurent Mekies. The Frenchman took over after Christian Horner was axed after 20 years in charge.

Even had Verstappen wished to depart Red Bull in 2025, any separation would have proved complicated. The current world champion’s release clause would only have been triggered if he sat fourth or below in the drivers’ championship by the summer break, but his performance at Spa-Francorchamps guarantees him third position.

For the moment, however, the rumours can be put to rest. Speaking to Sport.de in the Belgian GP paddock, Marko made it clear that he does not expect the team’s star driver to be going anywhere before the 2026 season.

“Yes, I can confirm that Max Verstappen will drive for Red Bull in 2026,” he declared. This decision carries significant implications for his competitors as well, not least Mercedes who were the team most strongly linked with the Dutchman, if he decided to make a fresh start.

With his main rival now out of the picture, George Russell is anticipated to pledge his long-term future to the Silver Arrows. Team boss Toto Wolff had previously left the door ajar for Verstappen, but with that option now off the table, contract discussions can move forward.

A report from the Daily Mail following the Belgian GP suggests that Russell is nearing a multi-year extension worth £30million annually. This would place him amongst the highest-paid drivers on the grid, trailing only Verstappen and former team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

It’s difficult to dispute that the reported pay rise is anything but merited. Russell matched Hamilton stride for stride during their three years as team-mates, and has matured into the reliable team leader that Wolff had envisaged him becoming. Whether his Mercedes team-mate will achieve similar success is yet to be determined.

Kimi Antonelli’s debut season has been a story of two halves so far, and the Italian teenager is facing mounting pressure after six scoreless finishes in seven Grand Prix races. The 18-year-old’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and, unlike his team-mate Russell, there are currently no reports suggesting a new deal is imminent right now.

George Russell Rips Into Mercedes Over Contract Handling, Accusing Them of Mismanagement. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen Makes a Jaw-Dropping Admission That Could Change Everything in Formula 1!

In recent weeks, the futures of two of Formula 1’s brightest stars, Max Verstappen and George Russell, have been the subject of intense discussion. With both drivers securing key positions in their teams, questions about their long-term prospects and possible moves to other teams have captured the attention of fans and the media alike. As the 2023 Formula 1 season progresses, the statements made by Verstappen and Russell regarding their contracts have sparked intrigue and raised the stakes for the upcoming seasons. In this article, we will dive into the latest updates from both drivers, analyze their positions, and explore what their futures could hold.

Max Verstappen’s Contract and His Red Bull Future

Max Verstappen, the reigning World Champion, is contracted with Red Bull until 2028. This deal has been one of the cornerstones of Red Bull’s dominance in Formula 1 over the past few years, with Verstappen securing multiple victories and titles for the team. However, rumors linking Verstappen to Mercedes have swirled recently, leading to speculation that he might seek a move to the Silver Arrows in the future.

Heading into the Hungarian Grand Prix, Verstappen was in a strong position, sitting third in the driver’s standings, 28 points ahead of George Russell, who was in fourth. Despite the speculation, Verstappen effectively quashed rumors of a potential move away from Red Bull, confirming that he would indeed remain with the team beyond 2025. In an interview ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Verstappen made it clear that he had no intention of leaving Red Bull for another team. He emphasized that it had always been clear to him that he would stay with Red Bull and that the team had always been in discussions with him about the future of the car and the team itself. Verstappen further stated, “When you’re not interested in staying, then you also stop talking about these kinds of things, and I never did.”

Verstappen’s statement effectively put an end to the rumors linking him to a move away from Red Bull in the near future. With Red Bull continuing to be a dominant force in Formula 1, it seems likely that Verstappen will continue to race for the team, especially with the long-term commitment already in place.

Mercedes and George Russell’s F1 Future

On the other side of the paddock, Mercedes driver George Russell has also been subject to growing speculation regarding his future with the team. With his contract set to expire at the end of 2025, Russell’s situation has been less certain than Verstappen’s. While Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has expressed his commitment to keeping Russell on board, the current state of the team has led to some internal challenges for the British driver.

In June 2023, Russell acknowledged that Mercedes had indeed held talks with Verstappen, which led many to wonder about the long-term future of Russell at the team. While the young Brit seemed relaxed in his public statements, he understood the dynamics of the situation. He emphasized that Mercedes’ interest in Verstappen was only natural, given Verstappen’s proven track record and current success with Red Bull. However, Russell also pointed out that his future at Mercedes would depend on his ability to perform at the highest level.

Up until the start of the 2023 season, Russell had been consistently impressive, securing podium finishes and showing his potential to be a top-tier driver. However, Mercedes’ performance had taken a dip in recent races, which has complicated the team’s plans for the future. Russell, however, continued to insist that his main focus was on performing well and securing results for the team. He said, “For my whole career until last year, the team has supported me so much and given me such amazing opportunities. Our goals have always been aligned, and what is in the best interest of the team is also in my best interest.”

Despite this positive outlook, Russell admitted that the past few months had been complicated. Acknowledging the tension between his own career aspirations and the needs of the team, he reflected on how the alignment between his goals and those of Mercedes had been a challenge. He further acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding his position, saying that he had not always felt entirely secure in the team’s decision-making process regarding his future.

Interestingly, Russell also opened up about the possibility of managing his own career more independently, apart from the traditional structure of Mercedes’ team management. While he was still fully committed to the team, he suggested that taking more control of his own future might become necessary. However, he clarified that he still trusted Mercedes, particularly Toto Wolff, and believed that as long as he continued to perform at a high level, his future with the team would be secure.

A Potential Shift in the Power Dynamics at Mercedes

As the Formula 1 season progresses, it’s clear that the dynamic within Mercedes is shifting. With Verstappen’s decision to stay at Red Bull, the battle for top drivers in the sport is intensifying. Russell, who has shown immense promise, will need to secure consistent performances if he is to keep his position at Mercedes. The team’s ability to develop a competitive car and challenge Red Bull in the coming seasons will be crucial in keeping their top drivers content.

In addition to Russell, Mercedes’ young driver, Kimi Antonelli, is also on the radar. Antonelli has impressed many with his performances in Formula 2, and it’s clear that Mercedes sees great potential in him. However, like Russell, Antonelli’s future is currently uncertain, as his contract also expires at the end of 2025. With Mercedes showing interest in both Verstappen and Antonelli, there could be major changes in the team’s driver lineup in the next few years.

The Impact of F1’s New Regulations

As Formula 1 enters an era with new regulations and a greater emphasis on sustainability and cost control, the teams are under increased pressure to develop cars that can compete at the highest level. Red Bull’s dominance in recent seasons has been largely attributed to the engineering excellence of the team and Verstappen’s incredible skill behind the wheel. However, the team will need to adapt to the changing landscape in order to maintain its position at the top.

Mercedes, meanwhile, has struggled to match Red Bull’s pace, but the team has historically been able to rebound from challenging seasons. With the arrival of new talents like Russell and the potential development of Kimi Antonelli, the team is well-positioned to recover and challenge for titles in the future. The next few years will be critical for both Mercedes and Red Bull as they look to maximize their potential under the new regulations.

    Conclusion

As Max Verstappen confirms his long-term commitment to Red Bull, the focus now shifts to George Russell and his future with Mercedes. While Russell has shown tremendous promise and has been an essential part of Mercedes’ plans, the team’s performance in recent races has complicated matters. Russell’s statements reflect the uncertainty that has surrounded his position, but his trust in the team and his commitment to delivering strong performances remain evident.

With Verstappen staying at Red Bull and Mercedes’ ongoing pursuit of new talent, the landscape of Formula 1’s top teams is rapidly evolving. As both Verstappen and Russell look ahead to their futures, the next few seasons will play a pivotal role in shaping the sport’s competitive landscape. It’s clear that both drivers have a bright future ahead of them, but the question remains: will they be able to secure the titles they both crave, and where will they be racing when they do? Only time will tell.

Nico Rosberg has been blunt in his criticism of Lando Norris on live television. Norris’ criticism of his F1 career mistakes shocked fans, and no one expected Rosberg to make such harsh comments!

Lando Norris’s Struggles and the Battle with Oscar Piastri: Can Norris Overcome the Mental Hurdles?

Lando Norris’s performance at the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix did not unfold as he had planned, and with the pressure mounting in the driver’s championship race, questions are now being raised about his future prospects. Nico Rosberg, former F1 World Champion and now a prominent pundit, pointed out a number of crucial concerns regarding Norris’s performance, especially when it comes to going up against his teammate Oscar Piastri. The McLaren duo’s rivalry has intensified this season, and with both drivers vying for the top spot, many are wondering if Norris has what it takes to challenge Piastri in the heat of battle. In this article, we’ll break down the issues raised, evaluate Norris’s potential, and explore what he might need to improve on if he is to fulfill his dream of becoming a World Champion.

Lando Norris’s Performance: A Rollercoaster Ride

Lando Norris’s 2025 season has been full of ups and downs, and the Belgian Grand Prix was no exception. Heading into the race, McLaren seemed poised to fight for a strong result, but the weekend didn’t exactly go according to plan. Despite having an advantage over his teammate Oscar Piastri early on, Norris faltered, leaving many fans and pundits disappointed. The biggest issue for Norris in Spa wasn’t just the strategy but the mistakes that crept in throughout the race.

The McLaren drivers were on different strategies, with Piastri opting for an earlier pit stop while Norris stayed out longer, hoping to capitalize on fresher tires later in the race. However, as it became clear that both would end up on similar tire compounds by the end of the race, it was Norris’s job to catch and pass Piastri, which required him to lap quickly and consistently. Unfortunately, mistakes started to creep in, including lockups at Turn 1 and going wide in some sections of the track. These errors cost Norris precious tenths of a second, and as we all know in Formula 1, those tiny fractions can have massive consequences.

When considering Norris’s performance, Rosberg was quick to point out the inconsistency that has plagued the Brit, particularly when the pressure is highest. According to Rosberg, the biggest gap between Norris and a potential world champion is his inability to consistently perform when it matters the most. “In a race like this, you need a cool head and precision,” Rosberg said, “but Norris doesn’t seem to have that just yet.”

The Mental Fragility: A Key Factor in Norris’s Struggles?

Norris’s issues go beyond just racecraft and strategy; they seem to be rooted in mental fragility. Rosberg, in his analysis, stressed the mental aspect of racing and how self-doubt and overthinking have affected Norris’s performance. Rosberg drew comparisons between Norris’s mistakes and those of champions like Lewis Hamilton, pointing out that Hamilton wouldn’t have made the same errors under similar circumstances.

Norris’s self-doubt was also mentioned when discussing his tendency to lose his advantage at the start of races. Despite being ahead during the rolling start, Norris often loses that position within the first lap. This lack of consistency in race starts has been a recurring issue for the Brit. Rosberg observed, “You can tell when someone is uncertain of themselves on the track, and it costs them crucial seconds, especially when fighting for the championship.”

The question is, can Norris overcome this mental hurdle? Does he have the mental fortitude to challenge Piastri and other top drivers in a battle for the World Championship? If Norris wants to compete at the highest level, he needs to shake off the doubts and focus on executing a flawless performance, race after race.

The Clash with Oscar Piastri: A Growing Rivalry

The rivalry between Norris and Piastri has become one of the most fascinating storylines in Formula 1 this season. Piastri, in only his second season, has proven to be a clinical, consistent, and almost cold-blooded driver. The Australian seems to have a maturity about him that allows him to stay calm under pressure, something that Norris has struggled with. Piastri’s precision, especially in high-pressure moments, has made him a formidable opponent.

When analyzing Norris’s mistakes during the Belgian Grand Prix, Rosberg was quick to point out that Piastri, despite also facing challenges during the race, managed to stay focused and delivered when it mattered. “Oscar is a machine,” said Rosberg. “Even when the pressure is on, he knows how to manage his tires and stay calm. That’s the hallmark of a champion.”

For Norris, the key takeaway here is that Piastri is not just quick, but also possesses an incredibly focused and disciplined mindset. He doesn’t dwell on mistakes, and he is able to extract the maximum from the car and strategy, without letting mental fragility get in the way. If Norris hopes to match Piastri, he will need to elevate his mental approach and work on managing the pressure.

The Crucial Role of McLaren’s Strategy and Support

The team behind Norris and Piastri also plays a crucial role in this championship battle. McLaren’s strategy, pit stops, and overall support have the potential to make or break their season. In Spa, there was a key moment that impacted Norris’s race, which was a technical issue with the battery that compromised his restart. While Andreas Stella, McLaren’s team principal, was quick to downplay the significance of this issue, it was still a blow to Norris’s race and his momentum.

On the other hand, Piastri benefited from a more seamless race, continuing to display his strong racecraft. For Norris, this incident highlighted how crucial it is for the team to deliver on all fronts, from strategy to execution. A slight anomaly could be the difference between victory and defeat, especially when the competition is as close as it is now. McLaren will need to ensure they provide both drivers with equal opportunities and avoid costly mistakes that could affect their championship charge.

The Road Ahead: Is There Still Time for Lando Norris?

Looking forward to the remainder of the 2025 season, the battle between Norris and Piastri is far from over. With multiple races left on the calendar, the tension between the two drivers will only grow. Norris has already proven that he has the pace to fight for wins, but the question remains: can he overcome the mental barriers and deliver consistent performances when it counts?

It’s clear that Norris has the raw talent and the potential to be a World Champion, but the mental fortitude and consistency required to win titles is something that he will need to develop. Piastri has shown that he can handle the pressure and perform when it matters, which makes him a formidable opponent for Norris moving forward.

As we head into the Hungarian Grand Prix and beyond, all eyes will be on McLaren to see how this intra-team battle unfolds. Will Norris overcome his self-doubt and rise to the occasion, or will Piastri continue to outshine him with his steady and composed approach? Only time will tell, but the remainder of the 2025 season promises to be a thrilling ride for both drivers.

In conclusion, Lando Norris’s performance in the Belgian Grand Prix and the ongoing rivalry with Oscar Piastri highlights a number of key issues that need addressing if Norris is to fulfill his championship ambitions. From overcoming mental fragility to executing better racecraft under pressure, Norris has some serious work to do. However, with the right support from McLaren and a more focused mindset, there’s still a chance that Norris can prove himself as a future World Champion.

  • SHOCKING TWIST For Horner & Aston martin After NEW EVIDENCE Emerged!

SHOCKING TWIST For Horner & Aston martin After NEW EVIDENCE Emerged!

Christian Horner, a name synonymous with success in Formula 1, finds himself at a crossroads in his career. Having spent the last two decades guiding Red Bull Racing to unprecedented levels of success, including securing eight driver championships and six constructors’ titles, the Brit’s future in the sport remains uncertain. His shock departure from Red Bull, despite his pivotal role in the team’s rise, has opened up numerous possibilities for his next move. While many expect Horner to pursue a high-profile role as a team principal, rumors suggest that he might have even larger ambitions: becoming a team owner. But which team could be willing to sell him a stake, and what challenges lie ahead for Horner in the fiercely competitive world of F1?

The End of an Era at Red Bull

The news of Christian Horner’s departure from Red Bull Racing came as a surprise to many. Despite a long and successful tenure with the team, the internal dynamics within Red Bull, particularly following the change in ownership stakes, led to his sacking. In 2023, Chalmur Uvidia, the son of the Thai-backed Red Bull ownership family, sold 2% of his shares, shifting the balance of ownership to Austria. This change marked a significant shift in the power dynamics at Red Bull, and the decision was made to part ways with Horner.

This unexpected move left fans and insiders scratching their heads. How could a man responsible for steering a team to such dominant heights be so easily dismissed? The underlying cause was not just Horner’s actions but also internal team issues, including the controversial investigation into his behavior towards a female employee. Although Horner was legally cleared, the damage was done, and his position within Red Bull was no longer tenable. As a result, the team’s loss of performance, along with the departure of key personnel, led to his removal, despite the external success Red Bull enjoyed.

The Rise of Horner’s Post-Red Bull Future

After his sacking, speculation surrounding Horner’s next steps has been rife. While some believe that he may take on a more prominent team principal role at another F1 team, insiders suggest that Horner is eyeing an even bigger role: becoming a team owner.

Horner’s ambitions are not to be underestimated. Martin Brundle, a former F1 driver and current pundit, believes that Christian Horner will not settle for anything less than full control of a team. As Brundle puts it, Horner’s desire for autonomy and influence within the sport is undeniable. “Christian wanted full control of what he felt he created in Red Bull,” said Brundle, acknowledging Horner’s leadership and vision for the team. “I rather suspect he overplayed his hand, and once the support of the 51% Yvidia family fell away, Red Bull Austria parked Christian at the first opportunity.”

The idea of Horner becoming a team owner is not far-fetched, particularly in the current climate of F1, where financial backing is key to success. A change in team ownership would give Horner the opportunity to shape a team according to his values and vision, something he has yet to fully achieve in his previous role as team principal. While this may sound ambitious, it’s not out of the realm of possibility given Horner’s extensive experience and industry connections.

The Controversial End to His Red Bull Tenure

The internal conflicts at Red Bull are far from trivial, and they raise questions about Horner’s future in F1. Beyond the accusations and the investigation, the real issue was the performance of the team. Red Bull had enjoyed an era of domination in Formula 1, but in the final years of Horner’s tenure, the squad began to show signs of faltering. The loss of key personnel, combined with the fact that the team struggled to push forward, was the final straw for Red Bull. Even Helmut Marko, Red Bull’s motorsport advisor, acknowledged that the team’s failure to progress was one of the primary reasons for Horner’s dismissal.

However, Horner’s legacy as one of F1’s most successful leaders cannot be ignored. His leadership has brought Red Bull Racing to the top of the sport, and despite the internal drama, there’s no denying that he played a significant role in the team’s success.

Could Alpine Be the Next Destination for Horner?

So, where does Christian Horner go from here? The most likely destination for the 50-year-old Brit is Alpine, a team that has been vocal about its desire to bring in Horner’s expertise. Alpine, which has faced its own set of challenges, is in the midst of a significant restructuring process. From 2026 onwards, Alpine will switch to using Mercedes engines, which could provide a significant boost to the team’s competitiveness. However, Alpine is also facing a leadership vacuum, and Horner’s experience in managing a team’s performance and navigating the complex dynamics of F1 could be just what the team needs.

Flavio Briatore, the former team principal at Renault (Alpine’s predecessor), has made it clear that Alpine aims to return to the top. The team’s current position in the midfield is unsatisfactory, and the aim is to break into the upper echelons of F1. A partnership between Briatore, who is likely to stay on as chairman, and Horner as CEO could be an ideal combination, bringing together the team’s ambitious goals with Horner’s proven leadership.

Alpine’s financial struggles could also make a Horner-led takeover plausible. The team is reportedly looking to sell a significant stake to attract investment, and this could provide the perfect opportunity for Horner to get a foothold in the ownership of an F1 team. With Briatore’s backing, Alpine could be transformed into a competitive powerhouse once again.

The Return of an F1 Legend

There’s no doubt that Christian Horner is one of the most talented figures in the F1 paddock, and his experience could benefit any team lucky enough to secure his services. Even drivers like Pierre Gasly, who had a difficult time under Red Bull’s management, have spoken highly of Horner’s leadership. Gasly, who was once replaced by Alex Albon in the Red Bull setup, believes that Horner’s qualities are undeniable. “You can only respect all the successes with the team and what he’s done with Red Bull Racing,” said Gasly.

The potential return of Horner to the sport, whether in an ownership or leadership capacity, will undoubtedly be a game-changer. His influence on the sport is profound, and his understanding of the intricacies of F1 make him an invaluable asset. While it remains to be seen whether Alpine will be the team to bring him in, it is clear that Horner’s future in Formula 1 is far from over.

    The Bigger Picture for Horner

While some suggest that Horner could aim for a position in the FIA, such as president, this seems unlikely given his combative nature and deep-rooted involvement in the team side of the sport. As F1 pundit Bernie Collins points out, Horner thrives on competition and the team dynamics, something that the FIA role would not provide. “Christian is the same as Max Verstappen,” Collins said. “He’s a fighter. He loves being part of the team. He wants to beat Toto Wolff. There’s that rivalry there. He’s not doing that in the FIA.”

This rivalry, particularly with Toto Wolff, is part of what makes Horner such a compelling figure in F1. His competitive drive and determination to succeed ensure that he will continue to be a dominant force in the sport, whether as an owner, team principal, or in another high-level role.

In conclusion, Christian Horner’s next move in F1 will be closely watched. Whether he takes the plunge into ownership or returns to lead a team as a principal, one thing is certain: his legacy in F1 is far from finished. The sport will undoubtedly benefit from his vast experience and passion for the competition. The question now is: where will he go next, and how will his presence reshape the future of Formula 1?

John Torode looks tired on stroll after wife Lisa breaks silence on MasterChef exit!

Former MasterChef judge John Torode was seen on a stroll with his dog and a friend this week after his wife Lisa Faulkner broke her silence on his departure from the BBC show

Former MasterChef judge John Torode was spotted on a stroll with his dog Rory this week. It comes after his wife Lisa Faulkner broke her silence amid the scandal over the show and she later said that Rory had kept her smiling through it.

It was announced earlier this month that John, 60, would not have his contract renewed. Production company Banijay said that an investigation into Gregg Wallace’s behaviour by firm Lewis Silkin had “substantiated an accusation of highly offensive racist language against” John. John has however said: “I have no recollection of what I’m accused of.”

John was seen enjoying a walk with his dog Rory and a friend in London earlier this week amid the fallout from the scandal. It comes as the presenter’s former co-star Gregg continues to promote his health and fitness coaching following his own departure from MasterChef.

John was spotted out in the capital city on Tuesday as he enjoyed a relaxed walk with Rory and restaurateur Peter Horton. The pals are said to have been seen chatting as they took a stroll together whilst accompanied by John’s dog.

The former MasterChef host, who appeared to be yawning in some photos from the outing, opted for a casual look. John was seen wearing a blue t-shirt, grey hoodie, blue joggers and a pair of blue trainers for the walk two days ago.

It comes after his wife Lisa, 53, broke her silence after John’s departure from MasterChef, which he had co-hosted since it relaunched in 2005. She thanked fans for their support in a video on Instagram just a few days ago.

Lisa said in the video message: “”Hi there. I just wanted to check in and say hello. I’m here and just thank you for all your lovely comments because they really, really mean a lot.” She concluded by telling her followers: “So thank you.”

The sighting comes following John’s departure from MasterChef, which has made headlines this month(Image: NASH / BACKGRID)

She later revealed that the couple’s dog has kept her smiling lately amid John making headlines over his exit from the TV show. She made the remark in a post on the platform alongside a photo of herself and Rory on Tuesday.

Lisa wrote: “Our little shadow over the past few weeks. I can’t tell you how much Rory has kept me smiling. Every day she wakes up wagging her tail, smiling and greeting a new day with her positivity! My motto really is Be More Rory.”

Earlier this month, the BBC said: “John Torode has identified himself as having an upheld allegation of using racist language against him. This allegation, which involves an extremely offensive racist term being used in the workplace, was investigated and substantiated by the independent investigation led by the law firm, Lewis Silkin. John Torode denies the allegation.

“He has stated he has no recollection of the alleged incident and does not believe that it happened. He also says that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. The BBC takes this upheld finding extremely seriously. We will not tolerate racist language of any kind and, as we have already said, we told Banijay UK, the makers of MasterChef, that action must be taken. John Torode’s contract on MasterChef will not be renewed.”

Shortly after, John posted a statement that read: “Although I haven’t heard from anyone at the BBC or Banijay – I am seeing and reading that I’ve been ‘sacked’ from MasterChef and I repeat that I have no recollection of what I’m accused of. The enquiry could not even state the date or year of when I am meant to have said something wrong.

“I’d hoped that I’d have some say in my exit from a show I’ve worked on since its relaunch in 2005, but events in last few days seem to have prevented that. Over the past few months, I have been considering my life and the shape of it now and in the future.

“Celebrity MasterChef, which I recently filmed with Grace Dent along with two fantastic Christmas specials will be my last. Personally, I have loved every minute working on MasterChef, but it’s time to pass the cutlery to someone else. For whoever takes over, love it as I have.

“I will watch fondly from afar as I now focus on the many other exciting projects that I have been working towards. My tummy will be grateful for a rest after 20 years of eating, but what a joy it has been. Life is everchanging and ever moving & sometimes personal happiness and fulfilment lay elsewhere. Thank you for the many years of MasterChef.”

As previously reported, production company Banijay said: “The legal team at Lewis Silkin that investigated the allegations relating to Gregg Wallace also substantiated an accusation of highly offensive racist language against John Torode which occurred in 2018. This matter has been formally discussed with John Torode by Banijay UK, and whilst we note that John says he does not recall the incident, Lewis Silkin have upheld the very serious complaint. Banijay UK and the BBC are agreed that we will not renew his contract on MasterChef.”

Princess Margaret’s pal hits out at ‘ridiculous’ claim she had foetal alcohol syndrome!

A former close friend of the late Princess Margaret has spoken out against the bombshell claims that Queen Elizabeth’s sister was born with the “invisible disability”, allegedly caused by the “heavy drinking” of the Queen Mother

A former close friend of Princess Margaret has spoken out against the “bizarre and ridiculous” claims in a new book that the late royal was born with foetal alcohol syndrome.

According to Pulitzer prize winning biographer Meryle Secrest, Queen Elizabeth ’s younger sister was born with the “invisible disability”, which the author alleged was caused by the years of “heavy drinking” by the Queen Mother.

The biography, titled Princess Margaret and the Curse: An Inquiry into a Royal Life, speculated that Margaret exhibited classic symptoms of the condition throughout her life, including mood swings, stunted growth, difficulties learning how to write, and painful migraines.

Despite the claims, which have never been proven, a former friend of Margaret has spoken out in defence of her late friend, saying not all of Margaret’s disadvantages can be attributed to choices made by the Queen Mother when she was pregnant.

“It is truly bizarre to suggest that everything that happened to the Princess can be put down to how much the Queen Mother drank while pregnant. And not just bizarre but ridiculous,” Margaret’s friend told the Daily Mail .

“Her life was not one long tragedy: she was an intelligent woman with a wide circle of interests and friends and was a mother and grandmother.”

The friend’s sentiments were echoed online, as many were similarly outraged by the book’s claims. Biographer and journalist Christopher Wilson wrote on X: “Crazy theory containing not a shred of proof turned into a book,” while a royal fan added: “Disgraceful. Princess Margaret was beautiful and elegant. Witty, fun and feisty. Her face showed no signs of FASD.”

The Telegraph , which has discussed the book’s claims, also said: “There is no firm evidence that Margaret suffered from an alcohol-related neurodevelopmental disorder, and the new biography has been written by comparing Margaret’s life, as attested in pre-existing written sources, with those who have suffered from the condition.”

The book, which is expected to be released in September, cited that the Queen Mother’s Scottish family, the aristocratic Bowes-Lyon clan, were “hard drinkers” with an ability to “hold their liquor”. The author went on to clarify that when the Queen Mother was pregnant with Margaret in the 1930s, there was no official medical advice for expectant mothers to stop consuming alcohol.

Fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) is a condition that develops in a foetus when a pregnant woman drinks alcohol during pregnancy, according to the Cleveland Clinic. A syndrome is a group of symptoms that happen together as the result of a particular disease or abnormal condition. When someone has foetal alcohol syndrome, they’re at the most severe end of what are known as foetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs).

The condition is life-long and can’t be cured. It can be prevented if expectant mothers don’t drink any alcohol during pregnancy, as even small amounts can damage the developing foetus.

As claims about Margaret’s came to light, the National Organisation for FASD issued a statement, saying while they are glad new light has been shone on the disorder: “We as an organisation do not speculate on who may or may not have FASD,” adding: “We are concerned that any reporting about this book must sensitively reflect real lived experience and the latest science.”

Myleene Klass shrugs off cheating claims as she poses in bikini on lavish holiday!

Loose Women star Myleene Klass appeared unbothered about the furore she’s caused after revealing the cheating scandal that tore apart her marriage, when she walked in on her ex and another celeb

Myleene Klass shared a dreamy holiday snap of her playfully posing in a bikini on Thursday amid her recent cheating claims.

The 47-year-old presenter looked radiant as ever as she stunned in a black and white two piece with a geometric print, showing off her toned physique. The mother-of-three gave a strong ab display as she posed on a boat, seemingly having the time of her life on what looks like a luxurious getaway.

Myleene captioned the candid picture “Fair winds and following seas.” Although, to counteract this glowing snap, she was quick to jump on her Instagram story to share the behind-the-scenes reality of her lavish holiday as she held a cold compress to her eye.

Myleene recently claimed that she had caught her husband in the act, cheating on her with another famous face, at her own birthday. The Loose Women panellist shared the allegations about her ex-husband’s marital mishaps when speaking on Paul Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast.

Myleene also showed the “reality” behind the posed pics (Image: @myleeneklass/Instagram)

She said: “I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony.” She continued to say: “I’m in my house; it’s my party. They weren’t having sex, but they were unzipping each other. ‘”It’s not what you think.” But I’m like, “It is what I think”. It’s the first thing they both said.”

Myleene told the love expert: “I kicked everyone out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland, and his dad said “He doesn’t get it from me.” I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say.”

Myleene later married then bouncer Graham Quinn. Out of respect, she has refused to name the woman he was cheating with in order to help protect their reputation. It was hinted that the person in question built a career off having a ‘family brand,’ although the incident itself took place before they were married.

Myleene said her life “broke” after she caught her husband cheating (Image: We Need To Talk/Youtube)

Myleene met her ex back in 2001, when he was working as her bodyguard, and the two went on to have a 12-year-long relationship and have two children together before their dramatic split in 2013. According to her, Graham tried to claim it was an alcohol-fuelled mistake, and despite seeing it as a “pretty big red flag,” she went through with their wedding in 2011.

The Loose Woman opened up about her struggles watching the ‘other woman’s’ life from afar. She said: “I’ve made peace with that situation now, but for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life. My life literally just broke apart very, very publicly, and their life—they’ve managed to continue building a family brand on it.”

“I have to take some accountability,” she continued. “Look, you know, first and foremost to my children. My children have asked enough questions, and it’s never been a case of laying out my stall now.

“It’s got to be as and when. But here’s the funny thing—school mums, people who just want to gossip, will go to your children before anybody else.”

The two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, with as few as 16 guests in attendance, and filed for divorce two years later. Although, the TV star found her happily ever after with her current partner Simon Motson, whom she met in 2015, and welcomed a son, Apollo, four years later.
