The wider NFL world seemed either unsurprised or uninterested in Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney being ruled out for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens. But he has a pretty good reason beyond just being injured.

Toney was listed on the injury report as “personal/hip” but we did not know what the “personal” was until NFL Network’s James Palmer revealed the reason: He just became a father.

“Kadarius Toney had his first child tonight. A baby girl. That’s where the personal part of his designation came from. He’s also dealing with a hip injury that is keeping him out tomorrow,” Palmer wrote on X.

Toney doesn’t have a ton of fans in the NFL due to issues with his attitude and his play on the field. But even his critics couldn’t resist the urge to offer the man congratulations on his newborn daughter:

“He gets a pass tonight! Congrats to him and his family,” one user replied.

“It’s a amazing blessing to have a child on your birthday…” another wrote, pointing out that today is also Toney’s birthday.

Of course, more than a few joked that they hope Toney doesn’t drop the baby…

The Dwight Howard coming out saga is getting more insane by the day and just after Dwight publicly addressed allegations of forcing a young man into a threesome, rumors appeared that Dwight has been attending alleged all-men parties with the likes of Diddy and Will Smith!

Meanwhile, more wild rumors about Dwight appeared on social media with some sources claiming that Dwight is part of a secret Hollywood club where high-profile industry men take advantage of much younger guys…

As you probably know, Diddy and Will Smith were previously accused of something similar and fans are now speculating that this rabbit hole is much deeper than it appears…

Retiring from the NFL doesn’t have to mean stepping away from the football field for good.

At least not for Travis and Jason Kelce, according to their mom Donna, who tells PEOPLE exclusively that she “can’t believe that they wouldn’t be in the future involved with football in some capacity because they love it so much.”

The beloved NFL mom of two shared her thoughts with PEOPLE on what life might look like for her sons when they retire from professional football amid rumors that Jason played his final game after his Philadelphia Eagles team was knocked out of the playoffs on Jan. 15.

“They love the people and they love the coaches,” Donna says of what Travis and Jason value about the sport that they’ve played since they were kids. “They just love the whole aspect about it,” she adds, noting the “very small community.”

Although Jason is center for the Eagles and Travis is tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, Donna says “everybody is very close even in different teams.” That’s just another reason why she “believes” hers sons’ involvement with football to some degree “will be the case” in retirement.

Teams aside, Donna points out their respective personalities. “I know them,” the proud mom begins to explain of her “very determined” and “very focused” sons.

“Anything they want to do, I truly believe they could do. I’ve seen it over and over again,” Donna continues. “They are just very tenacious, very much, ‘I’m going to see this through.’ They just never give up. They just keep moving on.”

And though Donna says she has “a feeling sports is going to be in there somewhere if they could,” she points out that it’s “fun to see” Jason be a parent too! “It’s just so heartening to see how he is as a father and a husband,” she says of her son, who shares three daughters with his wife Kylie.

It’s “so heartening — unless he’s going to do an antic,” she jokes, referencing Jason’s celebratory shirtless moment that went viral when he stripped during the Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 21. “But it’s funny,” she adds. “He’s a crazy good guy” and an “absolutely” fun dad!

While Donna shared her thoughts on what life might look like for her sons’ after they retire from the NFL, Jason opened up on his New Heights podcast on Jan. 17 about the retirement rumors that had surfaced after the Eagles’ loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and elimination from the playoffs.

“I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really, you know, make that decision. I just don’t,” Jason said. “There’s too much emotion in the moment. There’s too much going down in the moment to really fully grasp that decision.”

“I’m not trying to be dramatic to continue to draw this thing out,” he added. “I’m really not.”

Travis, too, tried to clear the air during a Jan. 19 press conference. “It came out that he retired, and he really didn’t say any of that,” the Chiefs tight end told reporters.

“The end of that game, I think everybody kind of felt for him, knowing that he has been thinking about it a lot over the past couple of years. The documentary shows that. You don’t need to go around and ask anybody,” Travis continued.

“It’s been cool to see everybody appreciate who he’s been over the years this past week, but I think the big guy still got some football left if he wants it,” he added.

Travis Kelce has addressed rumors and speculation about his future in the NFL by insisting he has no plans to step away from football just yet.

The Kansas City Chiefs star is bidding to reach his fourth Super Bowl in five years in the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday and is back in form after some vital contributions to their victory over the Buffalo Bills.

The 34-year-old scored two touchdowns from quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ passes in front of his girlfriend Taylor Swift, and their relationship has been the talk of the town in Kansas City.

Kelce has been dogged by questions about his career and personal life due to the increased media attention after he began dating singer Swift, also 34, in September.

Now into his 11th season, there had been questions as to whether the tight end still had the burning motivation to step out onto the field and if it might be time to wrap up his career.

However, in a bonus video of the ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, who plays center for the Philadelphia Eagles, he insisted that the buzz he gets from featuring in playoff games still gets him “f***ing excited”.

“I haven’t found something outside of football that’s going to challenge me like playoff football. And I don’t know if I’ll ever find that,” Travis said.

“And that’s one of the things that’ll make me play this game until the wheels fall off. I know that I get to accept these challenges and these difficult games, these difficult matchups, the question of whether or not we’ll prevail – and coming up big for the guys next to me.

“It’s an energy and an excitement that I haven’t found anywhere else in the world, and it’s something that I definitely cherish.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship
It’s clear that during her downtime from the Eras Tour, Swift has found some solace in watching her other half take the starring role on the football field from the VIP suite.

Swift has been arguably the Chiefs’ biggest cheerleader, following them all around the U.S. to catch a glimpse of her beau in action with her appearances in the stands now into double figures.

That may change when she returns to the stage to resume the tour in February. But it seems that even with the distance between their homes in Kansas City and New York respectively, Swift and Kelce have managed to keep their romance alive.

And for now, there doesn’t appear to be much desire from Kelce to hang up his cleats to focus on the celebrity-led lifestyle that Swift has inherited as a result of her popularity.

The Kansas City Chiefs are only one victory away from reaching the Super Bowl and will be looking to secure their place against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

And beyond talking about strategies, players or tactical aspects related to the game, many people will be wondering if Taylor Swift will be present in the stands.

The singer, arguably the most popular in the world today, is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce after they announced their relationship in September.

And the 34-year-old has been present for all of their playoff games so far, supporting him from the VIP suite, proving to be a lucky charm on the Chiefs’ journey to the penultimate game of the postseason.

Of course, much of the pre-game build-up will be dominated by questions about whether Swift, 34, will be in attendance at the M&T Stadium in Baltimore on Sunday.

With no discernible clues to confirm if she will be present, fans will be left eagerly waiting to see if she is there to support Kelce for the most important game of the season.

Everything points to the fact that she will be there, though, as her Eras Tour does not resume until the first week of February in Tokyo, Japan. And that means she still has time to fly in to see her other half out on the field.

The presence of the popstar is an event in itself when she goes to support the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium as the TV cameras follow all her movements, reactions and what happens in the box.

Sure enough, during their narrow 27-24 triumph over the Buffalo Bills,Taylor came to support the Chiefs and the cameras focused on her. But the one who stole the show was Jason Kelce, Travis’ brother, who many expect will retire from the NFL.

Images of the 36-year-old shirtless and drinking beer, whilst cheering with fans, stole the spotlight from Swift. She didn’t seem to mind being in the background as she high-fived Jason and spoke to his wife, Kylie.

Recently retired All-Pro center Jason Kelce went viral for celebrating a touchdown by his brother Travis during the AFC divisional round game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

Kelce jumped out of a suite shirtless with a beer in his hand and yelled in celebration of the go-ahead touchdown late in the second quarter. After the Chiefs’ 27-24 victory to secure a sixth AFC conference championship appearance, the image of Kelce jumping out of the suite stuck with football fans nationwide, including a cookie shop in a Kansas City suburb.

‘Tay said she absolutely loved you’: Jason Kelce’s shirtless antics steal show in Buffalo

Eileen’s Colossal Cookies is racking up requests for cookie cakes featuring a shirtless Kelce drawn in icing. The Liberty, Missouri-based shop had 100 orders to fulfill by Saturday, per local news outlet KCTV. The cookie cakes are 16-inches in diameter.

“I did not expect chest hair to be so appetizing,” Eileen’s Colossal Cookies store manager Hannah Stumpner told KCTV. “At this point we stopped officially taking orders because it’s crazy, it’s crazy.”

It’s not just the chest-hair adorned cookies that are selling. The shop posted on their Facebook page Saturday afternoon that they’d been cleared out of everything in the store for the first time in the location’s seven years of business.

Store owner Kristen Uhlman told KCTV she delivered cookies to the Chiefs team ahead of Sunday’s AFC championship game. Included in the delivery was a Kelce-themed cookie cake for Travis and she hopes the brothers will share it.

Shirtless Jason Kelce wanted to break table at game
Kelce’s first time as a spectator in Buffalo nearly had more viral moments. He said during a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast that he wanted to break a table with the Bills Mafia pre-game but his wife Kylie convinced him otherwise.

“He desperately wanted to go through a table,” Kylie said in an interview with “Good Morning America” posted on Friday. “It was on his checklist for the day, top priority of the day: go through table. He did not get a chance to do that.”

Kelce also helped 8-year-old Ella Piazza, a Taylor Swift fan with seats in front of his suite, say hello to her favorite musician. He saw her sign reading “Buffalo Bills + Taylor Swift = Best First Game Ever” and picked her up to show Swift what she’d written.

“It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen,” Piazza’s mother Jessica said. “She came back and started crying happy tears and it was so cool. He was so nice with her.”

The Chiefs are facing a tough test in the Baltimore Ravens for the AFC title game. No word yet on any pre-game antics but Kelce and Kylie will both be at M&T Bank Stadium for the game.

X appears to have blocked searches for Taylor Swift as a reaction to a recent trend of graphic AI fakes of the world-famous recording artist being posted to the site.

Right now, if you search “Taylor Swift” or “Taylor Swift AI” on X, formerly Twitter, you may see a “Something went wrong” message. After Platformer’s Casey Newton posted about the apparent block, we tried some other searches.

If X is intentionally blocking searches for illicit AI-generated images of Swift, it doesn’t seem to have gotten very far.

That’s because if you run into a blocked search term and decide to put the barest amount of effort into trying something else, you’ll get around it. “Taylor AI Swift” or simply putting quotation marks around her name both returned results as of this writing, for example.

Even tacking another word onto one of the seemingly blocked search terms gets results. Also, images still show up under the Media tab, although we saw no explicit images when checking there.

X posted a statement nearly a day after the pictures showed up saying that it was “actively removing all identified images” and taking action against accounts posting them. The site explicitly bans non-consensual nudity and synthetic and manipulated media.

Both Threads and Instagram suggest “Taylor Swift AI” if you start typing “Taylor” into their search boxes, but neither appears to show results, instead displaying a message saying that the term “is sometimes associated with activities of dangerous organizations and individuals.”

Reports have said that Swift is considering legal action against the sites hosting the images, which users said they preferred Microsoft Designer to make. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella called the deepfakes “alarming and terrible” in an interview with NBC Nightly News yesterday, and said he believes AI companies need to “move fast” to get better guardrails in place.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre weighed in yesterday as well, calling on Congress to create legislation to protect people from deepfake porn.

X replied to our email asking whether Swift’s name is being blocked intentionally with an emailed auto-reply.

Players stepped off the Chiefs’ flight from Kansas City shortly after 3pm and with just 24 hours to go before the game that will be the end of one team’s Super Bowl LVIII dreams and a ticket to Las Vegas for the other.

Dressed head to toe in black – beanie, shades, jacket and pants, with heavy chain at his neck – Kelce swaggered across the tarmac looking every inch like a man who means business. He had a similar gait when arriving at the team hotel, that is, until DailyMail.com caught the normally sure-footed tight end tripping on the stairs in some exclusive footage. Fortunately, Kelce caught himself before completely losing his balance.

He’ll have more obstacles to deal with on Sunday, including the Ravens’ sixth-ranked defense and the pressure of playing in front of a star-studded crowd in Baltimore.

And right at the front of the celebrity pack, Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift, 34, a regular fixture in the VIP box at her boyfriend’s games, is expected to join the tight end’s friends and family to cheer the Chiefs to what they hope will be victory.

Earlier this week, speaking on New Heights, the podcast they co-host Jason admitted that his wife Kylie had warned him to be on his ‘best behavior’ when meeting Swift,34, for the first time.

Regardless, Jason said informed the mother of his three young children, that he planned to take off his shirt and leap into the crowd.

He admitted, ‘I gave Kylie a heads up. The moment I got in that suite I said I’m taking my shirt off and I’m jumping out of that suite, and she said, ‘Jason don’t you dare.’

He continued, ‘[I said] ‘I’m not asking for permission I’m doing this,’ and she was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor.

Laughing Travis, 34, said, ‘I watched this, and it was just pure pandemonium. Tell you what man, if you don’t run for president this is all just going to go to waste.

When asked if Travis Kelce would sign a prenuptial agreement if he married his fiancée Taylor Swift, Ed Kelce handled the unpleasant issue with grace.

On Friday, January 26, Ed was questioned about Travis’ financial arrangements in the event that he and Swift, both 34, become engaged on Audacy’s 92.3 The Fan radio program.

“I think you get to a point. I don’t know that Taylor is out there trying to make money, trying to build this huge empire,” Ed said. “I think she’s out there following her passion, doing what she knows and what she enjoys. People are just throwing money at her, you know what I mean.”

The Kelce family has been impacted by Travis and Swift’s public affair, Ed said earlier in the show, adding, “I don’t know if it’s crazy.” He does indeed date Taylor. Yes, you are observed wherever you go. “More people recognize us since he started dating Taylor. I’ll be [in] the grocery store, somebody will smile and say, ‘Hey!’ Come over and say [hi], and I have no idea who they are,” he shared.

“That has certainly picked up and become more frequent by a long shot than the before-Taylor days.”

According to Forbes, because of her ongoing and record-breaking tour, a blockbuster movie and a shrewd mind for business, the 33-year-old singer is now worth an estimated $1.1 billion and this is likely to grow further.

Following the athlete’s confession of his affection on Swift last summer, Swift and Travis discreetly began dating.

Travis took action after seeing a stop on Swift’s Eras Tour in July 2023, and two months later, Swift started going to Kansas City Chiefs games on a regular basis. is that it is my own life, and I want to honor both of our lives,” he stated in a podcast episode titled “New Heights” from September 2023.
