Meghan Markle is said to be “furious” after Victoria Beckham “pips her to the post” with the reveal of her new Netflix show.

The 43-year-old is set to be releasing her own cooking show as part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix deal – but Victoria has now has revealed her own show – also airing on Netflix.

Victoria, who is reportedly feuding with the Sussexes, has revealed that her show, The House of VB, will hit screens next year.

The show will showcase her journey in building her fashion empire, as well as giving fans an insight into the life of the former Spice Girl.

According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, Meghan will likely be “furious” that Victoria is releasing her show before her own.

Speaking to Fabulous, she said: “I’m sure [Meghan] would have been furious because she likes to be in control.

“I think she’d be annoyed that Victoria had pipped her to the post. She’d have to be magnanimous about it deep down inside. She might be annoyed, but she cannot show it, and you know she’s enough of an actress to know that she can’t possibly show it.”

Discussing whether she believes Meghan will publicly reveal her true feelings, to which Ms Seward said it would be a “grave error” to say anything at all.

She said: “I think to say anything else would be a grave error, and she knows that. Of course, she’d be annoyed, but there’s absolutely nothing she can do about it because she doesn’t have a hand in the scheduling of these shows.”

Earlier this year, Deadline reported that Meghan’s series, which was – at that time – in early development, will feature the former actress celebrating “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”.

A source told Us Weekly back in August that the series “is going to be a take on her and the joy of living. [There will be] little things she’s learned in terms of being a modern-day hostess.”

Much like the news of a release date, a title for Meghan’s series has also not been released.
