Dragons’ Den viewers make same complaint as they’re left baffled over ‘annoying’ episode

Fans of BBC’s hit investment series, Dragons’ Den, were left far from happy with the latest airing, with some voicing their discontent at the ‘annoying’ episode

Fans of Dragons’ Den were in unison with their dismay as the popular BBC show aired on Thursday.

The investment series showcased more business hopefuls on prime time television – but some fans were less than happy with what they were watching. While the new series is underway, viewers were quick to point out there was an issue with the latest episode

On Twitter /X, fans fumed that the BBC had placed a repeat episode in the slot, with many having expected a brand new showing. One user raged: “A repeat of Dragon’s Den sneakily added onto the current series as though I wouldn’t notice #dragonsden”

Another agreed, saying: “#DragonsDen annoying they leap between new and old episodes without telling us!,” while a third said: “Why are they showing a repeat during a new series?! #dragonsden.” A fourth questioned: “Nah, why are the bbc showing a repeat from 2023?? #dragonsden.”

One of the businesses up for grabs was a camper van company called Red Cote Limited. Sara Davies was on hand to offer her expertise – while also getting her dad involved in the project. While she claimed it was the most excited she’d been about a project, the episode initially aired almost two years ago.

Now, it’s claimed ITV have “poached” the dragon from the BBC. She initially joined the organisation in 2019 as the youngest ever female investor. Now, it’s thought she has been turned to become a host of a new daytime quiz show on ITV.

The mum-of-two, 40, has recently finished presenting a 16-episode run of The Big Idea Works on the BBC. However, she is now expected to take on the role of the host of a new game show called This is Money. According to ITV, the new show is described as the “fastest quiz on TV”. Viewers will see competitors battle against the clock as they try to hold onto the jackpot prize they receive at the start of the show.

Sara has said she is “absolutely delighted” to be taking the helm. Speaking to the Sun, she said: “This show is unlike anything you’ve seen before — it’s full-on, it’s exhilarating, and the pressure is real. It’s going to be a rollercoaster of excitement and tension, and I can’t wait to see who’ll keep their cool under pressure. Get ready for a make or break adventure, because time really is money!
