Celebrity fashion designer and TV host Jeff Banks has split from his much younger girlfriend after two years of dating
TV host Jeff Banks has split from his much younger girlfriend – and she is now living in a caravan.
The 81-year-old celebrity fashion designer, who is famous for founding high street store Warehouse and creating and hosting The Clothes Show on the BBC from 1986 to 2000, is said to have ended his ‘full and loving’ relationship with mum-of-two Hannah Beech, 39, in June.
They reportedly met in 2022 when Jeff was inspecting his Jeff & Co range at a Home Bargains branch in Liverpool, where Hannah’s father lives, and romance blossomed after he took her number and they went on a string of dates.
In the two years that followed, twice married multi-millionaire Jeff is said to have splashed out on designer clothes and handbags – including an £8,000 Yves Saint Laurent jacket and £5,000 Prada handbag – and tens of thousands on flash holidays to France, the Greek islands and Mauritius.
Holistic beauty therapist Hannah, from Runcorn in Cheshire, even moved into Jeff’s eight-bedroom listed mansion in Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, close to where celebs George Clooney, Liam Gallagher and Orlando Bloom also own properties.

But Hannah has since been spotted living in a caravan as she ‘rebuilds her life’ following her shock split from Jeff. A source told The Sun : “Hannah genuinely fell for Jeff, despite the fact he was old enough to be her grandfather.
“He had incredible energy for a man in his 80s and she loved his old-school charm. He acted like a gentleman and was very generous. But it went downhill and she’s moved into temporary accommodation while she tries to rebuild her life.”
And it’s not the first time one of Jeff’s exes has reportedly ended up living in a caravan following a break up. His first wife, singer Sandie Shaw, is thought to have moved into one with their daughter Gracie when their 10-year marriage ended back in 1978.
He was also married to model and makeup artist Sue Mann, with whom he shares two daughters and a son. Speaking about his most recent breakup, Jeff told the publication: “She [Hannah] decided to terminate the relationship herself and left of her own volition. Having left, I was not aware of any living arrangements she has made.” The Mirror has reached out to Jeff’s reps for further comment on this story.
While the extent of Jeff’s fortune is not publicly known, the designer was named as director of Vivienne Westwood’s fashion empire when she died in 2022, which is said to be worth £50 million.
In a tribute following the fashion icon and godmother of punk’s death in December of that year, Jeff said: “It is with great sadness I recognise the passing of my dear friend Vivienne. My heart goes out to her family and husband Andreas. This is a moment in history. Someone who forced fashion forward in a crucible of heat combined with an unswerving dedication to fairness, justice and the salvation of our planet. A true originator who will forever stand head and shoulders above her contemporaries and take her place forever in the highest echelons of her craft. Rest in peace Vivienne. You did us all a great and everlasting service.”
