Royal expert Katie Nicholl commented on how Middleton and her husband, Prince William, are handling the attention in an interview with ET. “Well, I know from the sources that I’ve spoken to that both William and Kate have been pretty shocked and genuinely surprised by the wild rumors that are circulating on the internet,” she said.
What Does Kate Middleton Think About Concern For Her Health?
Nicholl also commented on how William was unhappy with what was said about his wife in the media. “I think there’s a sense of frustration, possibly even anger, certainly on William’s part,” she said. “I think the suggestions that [Kate’s] had, well, anything as crazy as a bad haircut that she’s needed to grow out to cosmetic surgery that’s gone wrong or people speculating that possibly she’s in a coma, I think that has made the Prince of Wales frustrated, upset and pretty angry as well.”
This reaction from William is entirely justified because it would be challenging to read reports about his family daily. The couple have also been unable to dispel them, and the Photoshopped picture posted on social media caused some to lose trust in the Royals. “It’s been difficult for them. I think they’re trying to ignore as much as they can. But, of course, this is a couple who have had to embrace social media,” Nicoll continued.
It is not just reports of Middleton’s health that the family has had to contend with, but also rumors about William’s alleged affair with Lady Rose Hanbury (despite her coming forward to deny the claims). To say it has been a tough time for the family would be an accurate stat. Until Middleton can resume her Royal duties, it’s unlikely the media attention and fan theories will end.

According to TMZ, Piers Morgan claims a source close to Middleton had said she appeared much thinner and poorly than in the Mother’s Day photo, released just days after. No further information was revealed, but the outlet teased an upcoming documentary with Morgan titled TMZ Investigates: Where is Kate Middleton?, which will be aired on FOX.
