Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen has treated her fans to an inside look at the family’s farming pursuits, while calls for another series of her successful Channel 5 program grow louder.

As a mother of nine and TV favourite due to the wholesome rural escapades shared on both Our Yorkshire Farm and the spin-off, Our Farm Next Door on Channel 4, the Yorkshire shepherdess regularly updates her Instagram followers with snaps from the farm.

In her recent update, she showcased three of her children pitching in at the farm, alongside a caption that reads: “Some of the farmy army in the pens with the gimmer hoggs (year old female sheep) making them ready to turn back to the moors.”

Adding to the rural narrative, she further posted: “We’re ready to mark up and horn burn with plenty of irons in the fire.”

Yet, amidst these charming insights, it’s the potential of new episodes that has fans truly abuzz. One keen fan prodded on Instagram: “When is the next part of your series coming out @yorkshireshepherdess? Eagerly awaiting.”

Last time we saw Amanda dial down the curtain on her show was during an emotional goodbye on Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, bringing viewers to tears with its heartfelt close.

During the powerful last act, audiences were drawn into Amanda’s personal sphere as she mused on the refurbishment of Anty John’s in Swaledale, bought in 2020 – a project steeped in sentiment and devotion for the Yorkshire Dales local.

During the show, she admitted: “I did feel a bit emotional when I came here today because I have invested so much into this. It has occupied my thoughts for years about how this was going to happen.”

After the series ended in 2024, fans are begging for it to come back

When the series ended in 2024, fans were quick to voice their upset on social media. One fan declared: “Oh no! I hope we can watch more very soon. Absolutely brilliant loved it.”

Someone else commented: “Hope there is another series. Really enjoyed seeing you all again.” Meanwhile, a wave of disappointment hit a Facebook fan group where one user confessed: “Really gutted as was enjoying watching this.”

An upcoming repeat episode of Our Yorkshire Farm, airing on Saturday, will show Amanda Owen getting emotional after Clive Owen makes a heartbreaking discovery at Ravenseat Farm.

While taking her sheepdog Kate for a stroll, Amanda shared the sad news that Kate had delivered a stillborn puppy. Fortunately, Kate seemed to be in good health despite the tragic event. A visibly moved Amanda explained to the camera: “Unfortunately, she is no longer in pup.”
