Ruth Langsford, 64, said her son Jack Holmes ordered an Indian takeaway when she returned from work last night, just days after Eamonn Holmes headed on a cruise with his girlfriend
Ruth Langsford has revealed her son’s sweet gesture just days after her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes was spotted heading on a cruise with his new flame.
The Loose Women star said 22-year-old Jack Holmes ordered an Indian takeaway when she returned from work last night and shared a video showing all the food items he bought for her. The delicious curry delivery included chicken bhuna, saag aloo and rice, while her son had curry and chips.
She said on her Instagram stories: “So my son ordered my takeaway, so it was here when I got home. Love him for that. So I’ve gone for curry, chicken bhuna, it’s my fave because I like curry with loads of sauce. Which rice, do you think? Just plain, I like really plain rice.
It comes days after Ruth’s ex-husband and his new girlfriend Katie Alexander went public with their relationship onboard a luxury cruise with a pal saying: “They are serious about their growing relationship.” The pair were spotted at Barcelona port, with the GB News star on a mobility scooter, while Katie was smartly-dressed up.
Eamonn is an ambassador for travel agency “Not Just Travel” and sailed with Princess Cruises in May as part of a corporate away day. He had been due to go last month but delayed the trip so Eamonn could received more treatment on his back which has left him in severe pain in recent years and unable to walk without the aid of a frame or stick in 2024.
A source said: “Katie is very excited about the prospect of a trip away with Eamonn. He works hard at GB News and with his rehab so she is looking forward to them having some time on their own relaxing away from everything. But it was also be a clear sign to everyone that they are serious about their growing relationship.”
Going on a romantic holiday will be a big decision from Eamonn to show he is moving on after his marriage split from Ruth Langsford. The pair are set to begin divorce proceedings later this year after being married for 14 years. As we have previously reported, Eamonn’s estranged wife Ruth was left devastated last month by the discovery he is being consoled through the split by another woman.
Relationship counsellor Katie, 42, has been on a number of outings with the GB News presenter in the past 12 months as well as being pictured at his home. We revealed in January that Katie had told friends she was in for “the long haul” and wanted to support Eamonn through his tough times ahead.
