To many royal fans’ delight, Catherine, Princess of Wales, is back to work. The princess made a stunning and triumphant appearance at the annual Festival of Remembrance, marking her first major public engagement since completing her preventative chemotherapy treatment in September.

Middleton graced Royal Albert Hall this afternoon while wearing her signature outfit formula of a black coat-dress hybrid with mismatched buttons black and red buttons. She layered on a pair of sheer black tights underneath and finished off her look with black pointy-toe heels and a matching quilted-leather handbag.

A diamond pendant necklace, pearl drop earrings, and red poppy pin—which is used to commemorate military members who have died in wars during the month of November in the U.K.—rounded out her accessories.

Middleton was joined by her husband, Prince William, and other royal family members in attendance included Princess Anne, Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, and her husband, Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester.

Kate and the rest of the family will also attend Remembrance Sunday at The Cenotaph war memorial tomorrow. Kate has attended the ceremony, which honors fallen solders from the U.K. and Commonwealth, every year since she married Prince William in 2011.

Buckingham Palace confirmed Kate’s attendance at both events on November 8. The outing comes on the heels of Kate’s meeting with a 16-year-old cancer patient and aspiring photographer, Liz Hatton, last month. The royal also made a surprise appearance with Prince William in Southport to check in on emergency responders who treated those injured in a mass stabbing at a Taylor Swift-themed dance party.

Kate’s appearance today serves as an indicator of improvement in her health. In addition to returning to her duties, she is also reportedly back in the gym and feeling better.

“From what I understand, Catherine is doing very well. She is back training at the gym and doing all the things she wanted to do,” royal biographer Robert Jobson told Hello!. “I do think that we will start to see a lot more of her, and that she will carry out engagements as well as continuing to work behind the scenes,” he added, though he noted that she is likely to focus on bigger, more impactful events.
