Eamonn Holmes is reportedly set to move in with girlfriend Katie Alexander just four months after splitting from his wife of 14 years Ruth Langsford
Eamonn Holmes is set to move in with his 42-year-old girlfriend Katie Alexander.
The GB News host is planning to take his relationship to the next level just four months after splitting from wife Ruth Langsford. Despite Loose Women presenter Ruth still wearing her wedding rings, it seems Eamonn is set to move on permanently with his new girlfriend.
Eamonn had been living in a small rented flat after leaving the huge family home he shared with Ruth but he’s now ready to take the plunge with blonde divorcee Katie as they move in to their own love nest.
“Katie’s assured him she’s in it for the long haul and they’re both settling down nicely. They’ve been spending so much time at his Kingston flat that they’re even looking to move in together permanently,” a source told The Sun.

“With that in mind, they’re really keen to move into a bigger place in the country with lots of land. Katie will obviously be there to care for Eamonn as he grows older and thinks it’s best to do that somewhere without prying eyes,” the source added.
The pair were spotted heading on a luxury cruise together over the weekend. The marriage counsellor was seen pushing Eamonn’s walking frame through the departure lounge as Eamonn followed behind in a wheelchair. Ruth returned to ITV to host Loose Women on Monday while pictures emerged of her ex-husband at Barcelona port with his new girlfriend.
The Mirror exclusively revealed earlier at the weekend that Eamonn and his new lover are “serious” about their “growing” relationship. A source told us: “Katie is very excited about the prospect of a trip away with Eamonn. He works hard at GB News and with his rehab so she is looking forward to them having some time on their own relaxing away from everything. But it was also be a clear sign to everyone that they are serious about their growing relationship.”
Eamonn and Ruth announced their split in May and divorce proceedings are expected to begin later this year. Speaking to the The Mirror earlier this year at the Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards, Eamonn said of their split: “I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all. It’s too early to say but I hope we can still be friends.”
As we have previously reported, Eamonn’s estranged wife Ruth was left devastated last month by the discovery he is being consoled through the split by another woman. Katie has been on numerous dates with Eamonn over the past few months and Ruth reportedly knew little about their friendship.
