Brooklyn, 17, also shared a cute pic of him as a baby on nan Peggy West’s knee, writing: “Miss you nan so much. X miss your bacon sandwiches.. can’t believe it’s been 3 years”.
His dad wrote a more emotional message next to his pic: “This day 3 years ago I lost my Grandma someone so strong and so special to us…
“This picture was one of the proudest days of my life for someone that loved the royal family as much as she did I was able to take her and my grandad with me to the palace to receive my OBE… We miss her every single day”
David, 41, was left “absolutely devastated” at the loss of Peggy in 2013.
His maternal grandmother reportedly suffered a stroke and passed away in the early hours of November 9th aged 85.
At the time a source close to the former Paris St. Germain player told The People newspaper: “He is absolutely devastated. He and Peggy were very close.”

“David is really upset, he was extremely close to both Peggy and Joseph. He would speak to Peggy lots… The whole family is grieving for a wonderful woman right now.”
