The Beckhams’ Cotswolds country house suddenly became famous, attracting the attention of fans thanks to this detail

With many of us cooped up at home across the country, there’ll be plenty among us finding that it’s not always easy to play happy families.

But David and Victoria Beckham and their brood of children – 21-year-old Brooklyn, 17-year-old Romeo, 15-year-old Cruz

and 8-year-old Harper – are presenting a united front amid the crisis, while isolating in their glamorous Cotswolds house.

It appears that David and Victoria are in lockdown with their three younger children, while Brooklyn and his girlfriend – 25-year-old American actress Nicola Peltz – are isolating together elsewhere.

This week, Nicola posted an Instagram of some cupcakes she and Brooklyn had baked, writing: ‘we made 100 cupcakes for our local hospital today.

Every doctor, nurse, janitor, receptionist and first responders who put their life on the line to save ours are the true heroes. They are the real celebrities. We thank you. We love you. We honour you.’

The rest of the family, meanwhile, have plenty to keep them busy in the Cotswolds. With extensive facilities at the countryside property, the group will be able to reap the benefits of a sauna, hot tub, a pizza oven and a piano – where Cruz often serenades his Instagram followers. Taking to the kitchen to keep them busy, the group have enjoyed meals including chocolate fondue.

But it’s not all treats, as Victoria has been making sure that the family are keeping fit and healthy at home. She shared Instagram stories of Harper trampolining, writing: ‘Harper and mummy doing their daily exercises’. Keen to get her fans involved, Victoria also posted a clip of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson’s arm workout for her followers to try at home. Romeo, meanwhile, clearly takes after his father, taking advantage of the access to fresh air in the countryside by playing on the football pitch at the property.

And the group are also making sure to express their gratitude to those working on the front line during the crisis; Victoria posted a video to Instagram of David, Romeo, Cruz and Harper taking part in the ‘Clap For Our Carers’ initiative, ‘to thank the brave healthcare workers and brilliant NHS working tirelessly in the fight against COVID-19’. She subsequently also spoke to two NHS teams in videos documented on IGTV, writing in the accompanying captions: ‘They are so inspiring and we all need to do our part in staying home and helping these incredible workers and their colleagues on the frontline’.
