“Y’all need to realize Jake is going to win”: Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Simulation Match Goes Exactly How Everyone Thought it Would, Paul’s Fans Go Berserk

Mike Tyson is one of the greatest heavyweight champions in the history of professional boxing. Nicknamed Kid Dynamite, Tyson was a prolific boxer during his prime, and he holds the record for being the youngest heavyweight champion at just 20 years of age.

The former professional enjoyed the fruits of a decorated career before he hung up his gloves in 2005. Since his retirement, several other boxers have risen to fame and used their popularity to further the popularity of the sport, including Jake Paul.

The YouTuber found his calling in the boxing ring, and the two are set to face off against each other very soon. In the meantime, a rather interesting video has been doing the rounds on social media, one where Mike Tyson takes on Paul in a simulation, and the result is hilarious.

When Mike Tyson took on Jake Paul in a simulation

Mike Tyson‘s last professional match was against former champion Kevin McBride in 2005. He has returned to the ring a few times for exhibition bouts since then, his last one being in 2020 against former champion Roy Jones Jr.

Tyson will return to the ring once more for an exhibition bout against Jake Paul later this year. Scheduled to be held at the 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium, Netflix will stream the event live.

It will be an interesting matchup, to say the least. Paul is 27 years old, whereas Tyson is 57. Although the former champion has a wealth of experience behind him, Paul has the edge over him, given his young age. Moreover, he has made quite a name for himself in the ring, which has also boosted his net worth.

“My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion ever, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. This will be the fight of a lifetime,” said Paul (via The Guardian).

While the actual fight is still a few days away, some fans decided to have a bit of fun and simulate the encounter between them. The duo can be seen walking into the octagon, and Tyson does not go easy on his younger counterpart.

He lands a lethal first blow that sends Paul crashing into the canvas. To make it even more embarrassing, Paul’s head bounces off the canvas as he lies there unconscious.

Fans react to the simulation match between the duo

The video of the simulation has gained a lot of traction online. Fans were in splits, as they shared their thoughts about how the match between them might actually end up with this result.

One user believed that if Tyson won, “Its nothing we didn’t expect… If Paul wins we know it was rigged.” Another argued that it was just a sketch to make more money. “Man yall need to realize Jake is going to win. He’s younger and in far better shape. This isn’t a real boxing match, it’s one big skit to make money,” they wrote.

Many were confident that Tyson could still easily defeat Jake Paul in a boxing bout. “He didn’t even use his full strength,” wrote another user.

Netflix has been making inroads into sports in the last few years. This exhibition is not surprising, as Mike Tyson is still one of the most feared boxers, and Paul is a rising star.
