Anthony Joshua produced one of the biggest one-punch knockouts in boxing history in Riyadh last Friday, with his right hand rendering Francis Ngannou unconscious in devastating fashion.

Joshua’s performance was a far cry from the showing WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury put forward against Ngannou in October of last year.

Fury was dropped and hurt multiple times in his bout with the former UFC champion – and only managed to edge out a controversial split-decision victory over the Cameroonian.

After their vastly different fights against the same opponent, there are many fans and pundits who believe that this version of Joshua – the one trained under Ben Davison – would prove too strong for a seemingly fading Fury, were the two to meet.

However, Fury appeared out of shape in his fight with Ngannou and potentially underestimated the boxing novice – which is why some are refusing to deem his and Joshua’s outing a like for like.

Nevertheless, a potential match-up between Fury and Joshua has the boxing world talking – and while Fury has to face Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title before that could happen – let’s take a look at who of the two Brits is currently the favourite with Sky Bet since Joshua’s win in Saudi Arabia on the weekend.

At the time of writing, Fury remains the odds-on favourite at 8/11 to win should the pair meet in 2024, while Joshua is a marginal outsider at 11/10.

For those tipping a fight between these two to end in a draw, that result is valued at 16/1.
