After “5 years of love,” Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan called it quits in February 2024.

The pair, who started dating in May 2019, were together for two years before they made their red carpet debut at the British Fashion Awards in November 2021.

While they rarely made public appearances as a couple, Beckham and Regan weren’t shy about sharing their love on social media, with posts ranging from birthday tributes to documenting their trips together.

Weeks after their breakup, the former couple was photographed holding hands while taking a walk In West London.

So, who is Romeo Beckham’s ex-girlfriend? Here’s everything to know about Mia Regan and her former relationship with the soccer player.

She was born in 2002

Regan was born in England on Nov. 19, 2002.

She grew up with a brother and appears to be very close to her family. Her father often posts photos to his Instagram of their family adventures, including a trip to Cornwall, England in August 2020, and a day at Glastonbury Festival in June 2022.

In 2022, the model celebrated her 20th birthday by posting photos in a yellow, backless mini dress to her Instagram. “TOILET PICZ😚✌🏼 💛🌟🐝🍌 I’M 20!!!⭐️,” she captioned the post.

She’s a model and content creator

Regan is signed to two top modeling agencies, Storm Management and Ford Models, according to her Instagram. She has walked in runway shows for JW Anderson and Richard Quinn, as well as appeared in campaigns for Ami Paris and Coach.

“I love JW Anderson as a brand, so it felt like a natural progression in my career,” she told Numéro Netherlands about her experience walking the show. “The opportunity allowed me to gain a newfound respect from a model’s perspective, and to top it off and make it even more special, the show took place in my familiar home country.”

In addition to modeling, Regan has built a large social media following as a fashion influencer and content creator. She often shares playful collages on her feed and showcases her wardrobe of bold, vintage fashion. Using the handle @mimimoocher, the model has amassed nearly 650 thousand followers on Instagram and over 330 thousand on TikTok.

While she is still at the beginning of her modeling career, Regan revealed in a TikTok video for Storm Management that she also has plans to work behind the scenes. “I think I’d be really interested in doing more creative direction,” she said. “So the music behind shows or like the styling behind the shows or the set design or just the whole creative direction behind it.”

In May 2023, Regan collaborated with Icelandic outerwear company 66 North on a campaign for their new unisex collection, where she served as the creative director and producer.

She and Beckham started dating in 2019

Though it is unclear how Beckham and Regan met, they started dating in May 2019. The couple reportedly split in July 2022 due to distance, but their breakup was short-lived.

The soccer player celebrated their four-year anniversary in 2023 by posting a photo of them kissing with the caption, “4 years round the world with you xx I love you @mimimoocher.”

The couple walked the carpet for the first time together at the British Fashion Awards in November 2021. Beckham wore a classic, black military-style suit for the event, while Regan donned a black, fringed Proenza Schouler dress from luxury fashion rental site My Wardrobe HQ. She completed her look with black platform heels and a fringed, yellow clutch.

Regan told Vogue she went with the Proenza Schouler dress because she “wanted to push myself out my comfort zone” and even sought advice from Beckham’s famous mother, fashion mogul and Spice Girls alum Victoria Beckham to help ease her red carpet jitters. “Even just talking about what I’m wearing with her, what nails and make-up I’m going to go for, it’s nice to have that figure,” she said.

The pair’s red carpet appearance came just a few months after their first public outing, when they were photographed at a Wimbledon event in London in June 2021.

She released a denim collection with Victoria Beckham in 2022

Regan worked with Victoria in October 2022 to create a six-piece denim capsule. During an interview with Vogue about the collection, Regan shared that the fashion mogul gave her complete creative freedom to design the capsule.

“Victoria and I have always been in conversation about fashion,” Regan said. “I’ve always wanted to do something like this. I felt that [Victoria] really trusted me. To see her in full work mode was cool.”

Victoria told Vogue that creating the collection with Regan was an “exciting way to bring [Mia’s] signature Gen-Z flair” to her brand.

“Mia has always had a unique approach to fashion and styling. I love that she’s fun and not afraid to try new things when it comes to her personal style, which is reflected in the capsule,” she explained. “This capsule is so entirely Mia. And I love that.”

Beckham gave her a ring for their first anniversary

In a November 2021 video interview with Missoma Jewellery, Regan shared that Beckham gifted her the Vivienne Westwood Belt Ring in silver for their first anniversary.

“This ring is very important to me because I wear it all day, every day, through everything I do,” she said at the time. “Romeo gave it to me for our one-year anniversary.”

The model also showed off a pair of stacked silver rings in the video, which included one that had “Ro” engraved on the top (her nickname for Beckham).

She likes photography

In her spare time, Regan likes photography. She has a separate Instagram profile for her photos, which she calls an “account to feed my unhealthy addiction for film pics” in her bio.

The model’s photography profile includes images of Beckham, her friends and scenes from her life such as an audience at fashion shows. She shoots all her photos on a Fujifilm Klasse camera using Kodak Gold or Portra 400 film, according to her Instagram bio.

She and Beckham loved to travel together

In December 2022, the couple went on a cabin trip in the English countryside. Beckham posted a video on TikTok of their trip, set to the song “So in Love” by Curtis Mayfield, which showed the two hiking and cooking together.

“Me and my girl eating and hiking, nuffin better ❤️,” he captioned the video.

Six months later, Regan and Beckham went on a road trip to Big Sur, California. The pair stopped to take photos at the Bixby Creek Bridge and explore the forest terrain.

“We made itttt @mimimoocher,” Beckham wrote alongside a photo of the two on a cliffside next to the iconic bridge.

The couple also attended several music festivals and sports events together, including Glastonbury Festival in June 2023 and the F1 Grand Prix of Great Britain in July 2023.

Beckham has a tattoo in her honor

In November 2023, Beckham got Regan’s nickname, “Mooch,” tattooed on his inner right arm.

“Happy Birthday Mia hoped you liked that surprise,” tattoo artist Pablo, also known as Certified Letter Boy, wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Beckham’s new ink.

She and Beckham broke up in February 2024

The exes announced their split on Instagram — each penning statements on their respective accounts.

“This is ro, we have grown up with each other since we were 16!! Love takes different forms & paths as you mature. We aren’t together romantically but we do share lots & lots of love for one another,” Regan wrote.

Meanwhile, Beckham said, “Mooch and I have parted ways after 5 years of love. We still have a lot of love and respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will.”

Less than a month after their split, Beckham and Regan were spotted holding hands while on a walk together in London.
