WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury reveals shocking career switch

Tyson Fury is set to start his own firm in an industry distinctively different from the sport of boxing.

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury reveals shocking career switch

World champion boxer Tyson Fury has revealed a shocking career switch, and it couldn’t be any more different to boxing.

Fury is currently the WBC heavyweight champion, and was set to face off against Oleksandr Usyk later this year before contract talks broke down in the last week.

Usyk had beaten Anthony Joshua twice in the space of a year in 2021 and 2022, retaining his IBF, IBO, WBA (SUPER) and WBO heavyweight titles in doing so.

It made sense then, that Usyk could move onto the undefeated and undisputed WBC heavyweight champion that is Tyson Fury next, though for a range of reasons, contracts were never finalised.

Fury has no upcoming fights and has looked to enter a new career path. (

Following this news, it seems like Fury is set to venture into a new career, with him taking his first steps into the real estate agency.

Taking after his Aunt Maureen, Fury is starting his own firm to buy, sell and lease real estate in the UK.

The self proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ will run Greenway Balmoral Ltd from his £500,000 former home, which boasts six-bedrooms – in Morecambe, which is also the HQ for Fury’s other businesses.

Fury, his wife Paris, and thir six children live in a £1.7 million mansion nearby, though Tyson launched his new career by buying a house close to his brother Tommy and his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.

He had plans to flatten the Cheshire home and build a luxurious six-bedroom mansion with a pool was thrown off course by the discovery of roosting bats in the property.

The plan for Fury is not to extend the original building, though it is not clear if the Wythenshawe-born boxer is planning to make it his new family home, or if he plans to sell it.

The name of his new firm is believed to be a tribute to the late Queen, who passed away at her Balmoral estate in September last year.

Tyson and his wife left a card and flowers at Buckingham Palace, with the card saying: “Great may your bed be in Heaven”.

His auntie Maureen currently runs her property empire through Fury Developments Ltd.
