The artist formerly known as Posh Spice is celebrating the milestone in a four-day event with her husband David, kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper along with her parents and close friends. Telling her 33 million followers, she’s “only just getting started”, she thanked her family for believing in her and giving her the courage to “dream big and then dream bigger”.

In a post on Instagram in which she shared a snap of herself sporting one of her own designs, she wrote: “As I get ready to step into 50 (in heels, of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone. Blessed, but also accomplished and deeply content. Not just of where I am as a woman, but of how far my fashion and beauty brands have come. My ambition was always to empower women and make them feel like the best version of themselves. To me, that meant trusting my instinct and never compromising on my creative vision.

“I believe that you can be many things. A pop star, a mother, a wife, a designer… My passion has always been to dream big, then dream even bigger! Believe in yourself first — everyone else will follow. And if you’re really lucky, you’ll find someone who believes in you even more than you do. @DavidBeckham, I’m forever grateful for your unconditional love and support, and for our beautiful children. @BrooklynPeltzBeckham, @RomeoBeckham, @CruzBeckham, #HarperSeven, you complete me. I’m so proud, so in awe of the kind, hard-working, talented individuals you are all becoming.”

Victoria then said she would doing ‘more of what she loves with the people she loves’ before concluding: “This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and I’m only just getting started. Mummy and Daddy, I love you.”

The post was well received by the fashion designer’s famous pals, including Victoria’s bestie, Eva Longoria, who replied: “Gorgeous” with three fire emojis. Supermodel Cindy Crawford also sent her best wishes as she posted: “Beautiful inside and out at every age.” Meanwhile, Australian singer, Dannii Minogue, welcomed Victoria to the ’50 club’ as she wrote: “Happy birthday and welcome to the fifth floor!”

Also paying tribute to the birthday girl was Victoria’s husband, David, who posted a sweet tribute to his “beautiful wife”. The former England captain shared a montage of memories of the pair on Instagram, including clips of the power couple dancing and the former Spice Girl performing.

The short clip begins with footage of their son Brooklyn as a young child wishing his mum a happy birthday, adding “I love you so much more than the world,” before flicking through photos and videos of Victoria as a child and early clips of the singer.

Victoria plans to celebrate her birthday with a lavish four-day bash. It has been revealed that the fashion designer was hoping to reunite with her Spice Girl bandmates during the party. But the plan has since been ruled out.

A source told the Mirror: “David and Victoria have made it known they are planning a party to remember – but now it turns out it will be four nights to remember for members of their family. The current plan is that there will be one main party, but their family and close friends will be invited to stay for all four days.

“Victoria was keen to reunite with the Spice Girls for one performance during the celebrations and really pushed for it to happen. But unfortunately a performance has now been ruled out, and instead she will get together with the girls separately later this month.”
