UFC star Conor McGregor has once again raised eyebrows with his erratic public appearance while promoting his new action movie Road House alongside Hollywood superstar Jake Gyllenhaal.

McGregor, 35, has not fought since July 2021, when he suffered a horrific broken leg in a second straight defeat in the Octagon at the hands of Dustin Poirier.

The Irishman is believed to have made a full recovery and has expressed his desire to compete during International Fight Week in June.

However, fans have grown concerned over his lifestyle during his time out and those concerns have not been alleviated by some of his recent interviews.

McGregor has been heavily promoting Road House with a string of media duties but has behaved in a worrying manner on some occasions.

And The Notorious has become a talking point online again after sitting down for an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Viewers quickly noticed something was off about the Dubliner, who seemed extremely tired and a far cry his usual charismatic self.

McGregor, who looked to be struggling to get his words out, shrugged his shoulders constantly throughout the conversation with some fans claiming he was spasming.

The former champion’s skin colour also appeared off while he also seemed to be sweating alongside Gyllenhaal, who looked incredibly fresh in contrast.

‘This is legitimately sad, hope he gets the help he needs,’ wrote one viewer on X while another said ‘that was uncomfortable to watch’.

‘That man will never fight again,’ wrote another X user as one claimed it appeared to be the product of ‘withdrawal symptoms’.
