Tyson Fury loses huge bet despite brother Tommy beating Jake Paul

Tommy Fury won his grudge match against Jake Paul on Sunday night

Tyson Fury loses huge bet despite brother Tommy beating Jake Paul

Tyson Fury has lost his bet despite brother Tommy beating Jake Paul in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday night.

Fury’s younger brother Tommy finally entered the ring with American YouTuber turned boxer Paul as the pair battled it out under the lights in the Middle East.

After eight rounds of fighting, Tommy was announced as the winner via a split decision.

Prior to the fight, Tommy’s brother and heavyweight world champion Fury placed a £100,000 bet for him to win but ended up losing the bet.

Fury’s bet did not come in due to the fact that he placed a bet on Tommy winning via stoppage, which he didn’t do.

Fury told iFL TV prior to the bout: “Tommy knocks out 90 per cent of people that he spars with or drops them at least, so he’s a very hard puncher and Jake Paul will find that out tomorrow

“I’ve got 100 racks on it for an inside the distance stoppage, so if he loses, then I’ll lose 100 bags as well. I’ve got him at 3-1. I know Tommy is going to knock him out. What is a little bit stupid is I see all these experts and professional boxers picking Jake Paul over Tommy. I’m like, ‘What the hell are these guys watching?’

“Because Tommy will absolutely deck him. I think Tommy can get him out of there whenever really. It’ll definitely be inside the distance and it won’t be a points job for sure. Tommy wins by knockout. I can smell the fear and he [Jake] is rattling. He is rattling like a little b**** and he is going to get knocked out.”

After getting the hard-earned victory, Tommy said: “For the past two years this is all that has consumed my life.

“Everybody thought I was running scared but tonight I made my own legacy.

“This is my first main event, I am going to get bigger and better and if he wants a rematch, bring it on.”

Whilst Paul said: “All respect to Tommy, he won. Don’t judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses.

“I don’t know if I agree with the judges, it is what it is but that is the boxing world.”
