Tommy Fury was 'SCARED' of dad John Fury after hearing his explosive rant on live TV

ITV News presenter Kate Garraway suggested that Tommy Fury was more “scared” of his father John than his fight with KSI, following John Fury’s explosive rant on Good Morning Britain.

Tommy and his dad appeared on the breakfast show to discuss the 24-year-old’s upcoming fight with YouTube boxer KSI on October 14.

Garraway and Ben Shephard quizzed John on his furious table-flipping episode at a recent press conference in which he destroyed the stage after KSI made a comment about his other son, and world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.

John responded with a passionate rant about “being a man”, admitting it was “every-day behaviour”.

“No, nothing got me going,” he said. “That’s my normal character, Ben. That’s me, I like to get on with it, I like to get going.

“That’s what separates us men from the boys. These boys are bred on what you see there and KSI is a pretence job. He’s acting a part out, this is real-life everyday stuff for us, it’s a walk in the park.

“I’m enjoying it, Tommy’s enjoying it, the fans are but make no mistake about it, KSI can look in as much shape as he wants.

“But when you’re naturally bigger, naturally stronger, the desire is more and you’re a born fighter and been doing rounds with the heavyweight champion of the world, we’ve got nothing to worry about.”

Throughout the improvised speech, Tommy sat in total silence with his arms crossed, before Shepherd and Garraway promptly said their goodbyes.

Visibly confused at the conversation, Garraway joked: “I’m more scared of the dad. He doesn’t mess around!”

“I bet Tommy didn’t backchat,” she added.

During the interview, Tommy also had a message for KSI, threatening that his opponent would be leaving Manchester in an ambulance.

“When I jump in the ring with KSI he will quickly realise that fighting a YouTuber is completely different to fighting a professional boxer,” Tommy said.

“This is a message for KSI. Cut all of that fancy talk out, the laughs and all the stupid bandanas, whatever you want to do… come October 14 his life will be ruined.

“All his singing, podcasting, his business, it will all be finished as mark my words, he’ll be leaving Manchester Arena in an ambulance. I can quite clearly guarantee it.”

“Crikey,” replied Garraway. “I’m actually getting a little bit disturbed by all of this.”
