North West, 10, expressed her love for dad Kanye West by wearing his iconic Balmain trucker jacket from the 2016 Met Gala to the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party
The Christmas tree is not far from the apple! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest daughter, North West, showed her appreciation for archives by wearing her dad’s jacket at the yearly Kardashian Christmas Eve celebration on Tuesday. Kardashian posted a picture of her 10-year-old daughter on Instagram, sporting the “Jesus Walks” hitmaker’s Balmain jacket.
The 43-year-old mother of four remarked on her Instagram Story, “You know North went through the archives to pick her dad’s Balmain Met jacket,” with the asterisk “Ifykyk.”
At the 2016 Met Gala, Kanye, 46, wore the jacket with a pair of torn jeans and walked the red carpet with Kardashian, who was dressed in a glittering gown. That year’s fashion event had Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age of Technology as its theme.
At the holiday celebration, Kardashian couldn’t help but show off her love for all four of her kids by posting several pictures of them with Christmas trees in front of them. The creator of Skims snuggled with her children, North, Saint, 8, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, whom she shares with her former spouse. Kardashian merely wrote “Christmas 2023” as the caption for the pictures, which featured her looking gorgeous in an old gray Mugler gown. Their aunt Khloé Kardashian praised their holiday ensembles, writing, “All of the babies are serving!!!!!” Whoa, whoa, whoa. The family portraits provided only a brief peek of Kim’s extravagant Christmas celebration on December 24, when she decorated her $60 million Los Angeles, California, estate like a wintry paradise. Kim also created a man-made sledding hill and blanketed her property with fake snow; she and her longtime friend Paris Hilton made sure to use this feature later in the evening. Throughout the month, Kim has flaunted her extravagant decorations, which include many frosted Christmas trees inside and outside her house that are all lit up with white fairy lights.
