Simulation shows what Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight would really look like – and predicts the clash will be over in round 2!

A simulation of a fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul predicted the bout would come to a conclusive end in the second round.

The combat sports world was rocked on Thursday by the news that Paul will take on the former undisputed heavyweight king in a clash set to be broadcast on Netflix.

The event is set to take place at the 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.

It is not yet clear whether the clash will be an exhibition or an officially sanctioned professional contest.

The pair have been in talks to face one another inside the ring for some time, with Tyson revealing last year that attending Paul’s clash with Tommy Fury led to him considering a return to the ring.

As such a fan-made simulation from the 2010 game Fight Night Champion was posted online earlier this year.

In the simulation Tyson dominates the YouTube star turned boxer, scoring a knockdown in the opening frame before knocking Paul out with a left hook in the second round.

In a trailer for the bout released by the streaming giant the 57-year-old Tyson insisted he is looking forward to the challenge of facing Paul.

‘I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul,’ he said.

‘He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a “kid” can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.’

Paul, who won his latest fight against Ryan Bourland on Saturday, wrote on Instagram: ‘It’s time to put Iron Mike to sleep.’

He added: ‘It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard.

‘Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons.

‘My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion ever, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. This will be the fight of a lifetime.’

The fight will mark Tyson’s return to the ring nearly four years after his eight-round exhibition with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.

Tyson’s final professional contest came in 2005, where he was defeated by Irishman Kevin McBride, retiring on his stool after six rounds to end his career with a record of 50 wins and 5 losses.
