Saudi chief makes 'script' request to Mike Tyson ahead of Jake Paul fight amid 'fix' allegations

Turki Alalshikh has made a request to Mike Tyson ahead of his fight against Jake Paul.

Paul and Tyson met at a New York launch press conference on Monday to promote their July 20 fight, which takes place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

During the fan Q&A section, a kid asked an outrageous question to Tyson, who had a priceless reaction.

Despite the enormity of the bout, Paul vs. Tyson has been met with widespread condemnation by fans and critics alike.

One of them being Saudi Arabia chief Alalshikh, who has transformed the world of boxing following his ability to make any fight with a snap of the finger.

He helped make the undisputed world heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, which goes down on Saturday.

And ahead of Paul and Tyson sharing the ring, Alalshikh has told the boxing legend to ‘forget to script’.

On X, he posted an image of himself alongside the former world heavyweight champion, accompanied with the caption: “Please brother Mike, forget the script and beat this guy!”

Alalshikh is clearly referencing the claims and suggestions that Paul’s fights have been scripted in his favour.

‘The Problem Child’ has nine pro wins to his name, but some of his victories have been subjected to fierce criticism.

He has been accused of ‘fixing’ his fights against Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz.

Alalshikh seems to be aware of the claims and hopes Tyson does the business this summer.

The 42-year-old, who’s the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, has made been hugely influential in making some of the biggest fights in recent years.

But he isn’t interested in ‘YouTuber fights’ as he wants ‘real fighters’.

He said: “Please, we don’t want any YouTuber fights again. I don’t talk about names. I want fighters, real fighters. This is what I support. For me, inside my heart, I want the fighters.”
