Nicola Peltz forced to cut Brooklyn Beckham from new movie after his awkward blunder

Nicola Peltz Beckham has revealed that she was forced to cut her husband Brooklyn’s cameo in her new film ‘LOLA’ after he continuously made the same awkward mistake while filming.

The American actress, 29, who tied the knot with Brooklyn, 25, in April 2022, has received glowing reviews for her independent film, titled Lola, after making her directorial debut. Nicola’s famous husband Brooklyn, who is of course the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, filmed a scene for Lola. However, his cameo in the movie had to be cut due to the fact he kept looking down the camera lens when speaking.

According to Nicola, Brooklyn was left feeling ‘really upset’ when she had to break the news to him that he wouldn’t be appearing in her directorial debut in the movie she wrote herself about a struggling 19-year-old living in poverty. Lifting the lid on why Brooklyn’s small scene was scrapped, Nicola told People: “He had one line, ‘Hi,’ but he kept saying it in a British accent and he was staring directly into the camera. I was like, ‘Oh God, we have to move on, good lord.’”

“Brooklyn is actually really upset that he did get cut from his one little cameo,” she added. While Brooklyn’s chances of making it big in Hollywood may be even slimmer now, he has continued to support his wife and gushed over her talent’s in a doting Instagram post after the premiere of Lola.

“WOW what a night, Nicola I am so proud of you, you have worked so hard on this and it couldn’t of [sic] turned out more perfect. I love you so much,” he penned. Nicola, who wrote, directed, and starred in independent film, was also supported by Brooklyn’s famous mum, Victoria, who attended the premiere and posed in family photos alongside the couple, her husband David, and Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo and Cruz.

After the premiere, Victoria took to Instagram to write: “Nicola, we could not be more proud of you! Congratulations on your incredible film, Lola. officially in theatres February 9th! Kisses.” Victoria and her daughter-in-law were seen getting along well at Nicola’s recent film premiere.

It is understood that the two have finally settled their differences. Victoria, 49, and Nicola allegedly had a disagreement over Nicola’s wedding dress design. However, a source said they decided to make peace for the sake of the family. “Victoria took a step back, so Nicola took a step forward and it allowed them to resolve things and move on,” the source revealed.

The insider added that Victoria just wants what’s best for her son Brooklyn. “She just wants the best for her son, and Brooklyn made it clear that Nicola was the number one woman in his life so they had to resolve things,” the source continued.
