Mike Tyson produced a hilarious reaction when Khabib Nurmagomedov lost his head at the official UFC 160 weigh-ins.

Nurmagomedov’s fight against Abel Trujillo served as a 158.5lbs bout on the under-card of UFC 160 back in May 2013.

The Russian fighter missed weight as emotions were running high when he faced off against the American.

Nurmagomedov shoved Trujillo after they butted heads as Dana White intervened and stopped the incident from escalating.

Tyson, who was invited on stage by the UFC boss, loved the exchange between Nurmagomedov and Trujillo.

He smiled and raised his arms in appreciation in a brilliant sequence.

Nurmagomedov went onto dominate Trujillo to record his 20th professional MMA victory and his fourth win inside the famed Octagon.

He made UFC history by recording an impressive 21 takedowns in three rounds.

In 2020, reflecting on his win against Trujillo, ‘The Eagle’ said: “At this fight, which happened seven years ago, I placed a record in #UFC 21 takedowns in single fight.

“A month before the fight I injured my knee and wasn’t able to take opponents back.

“The decision to make was very simple. Just grab and throw your opponent for 15 minutes straight.

“If there is a desire, there will always be a solution.”

Tyson is a big fan of Nurmagomedov, calling him one of his four favourite UFC fighters.

“It’s needed in our society. No one thing suits everyone,” he explained.

“There’s a lot of guys. There’s Khabib and Jon Jones. There’s just so many good fighters out there. Colby Covington.

“There’s so many exciting fighters, they’re out there man.”

Nurmagomedov enjoyed a stunning MMA career as he walked away from the sport undefeated and as UFC lightweight champion.

He retired with a 29-0 record, beating the likes of Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.
