Mike Tyson names the three legendary fighters that inspired him to become a boxer

Mike Tyson is a boxing icon and finished his illustrious career with a record of (50-6).

‘Iron Mike’ is still one the most recognisable men on planet, having bludgeoned his way to the undisputed heavyweight championship.

Surprisingly he returns to professional boxing for the first time since a somewhat sad performance against Kevin McBride in 2005 when he takes on Jake Paul on July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Ahead of the clash he spoke with Nick Kyrgios to discuss those that inspired him to lace up the gloves

“Oh, Roberto Duran. Number one, yeah,” Tyson said.

“And Ali? Anyone like that?” Kyrgios responded.

Tyson then replied with what influence ‘The Greatest’ had when it came to his own boxing career.

“No, Ali caused me to be interested in boxing, but Roberto Duran and Sugar Ray Leonard made me want to fight.”
