Lennox Lewis shares his thoughts on Tyson Fury’s condition ahead of his fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

Lennox Lewis has raised his concerns over Tyson Fury’s new physique for his undisputed clash against Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury will defend his WBC belt against Usyk, who puts his WBA (super), IBF and WBO titles on the line when they meet on Saturday.

The Riyadh showdown will crown an undisputed heavyweight champion for the first time since 1999.

Back then, Lewis outpointed Evander Holyfield to claim undisputed status.

The boxing legend has shared his thoughts on Fury vs. Usyk – particularly the undefeated Brit’s physique.

Fury has come in a lot leaner and is expected to weigh considerably lighter than his last appearance against Francis Ngannou last October.

And Lewis, who also boasts a victory over Mike Tyson, believes the lighter frame will allow him to move a lot quicker around the ring, but revealed his concern for the ‘Gypsy King’.

Speaking to SPORTbible, he said: “To me, being a bit lighter makes him move a lot quicker and he doesn’t have a lot of weight with him so he can move around, glide around the ring.”

Lewis, however, believes Fury’s legs look a ‘bit skinny’, explaining they won’t be able to hold him up if he gets tagged on the chin.

The 58-year-old added: “But the only thing it takes away from him is the legs. His legs look a bit skinny. And legs are like a cushion… like a spring for a shock for if you get hit on the chin. Your legs hold you up. So, I’m concerned about that.”

Fury weighed in at 277lbs for his clash against Ngannou, but his promoter Frank Warren claims he could tip the scales at 259lbs ahead of facing Usyk.
