Kanye West and Ty Dolla sign postpone their joint Album ‘Vultures’ to next year

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign have once again delayed the release of their upcoming album, ‘Vultures’. This marks the third time the duo, also known as ¥$, has pushed back the album’s release date. Initially, they promised fans that ‘Vultures’ would drop on New Year’s Eve, but over the past Christmas weekend, the release was rescheduled to January 12, as confirmed by the musicians’ representatives to NME.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign have already previewed several tracks from ‘Vultures’ during impromptu listening events. However, only the lead single, also titled ‘Vultures’, has been officially released so far.

According to HipHopDX, the album is expected to feature collaborations with artists such as Young Thug, Freddie Gibbs, Future, Playboi Carti, Quavo, Lil Durk, and Chris Brown. Additionally, there may be a Danish contribution to the album, with producer Lukas B.L, who created the beat for the track ‘All This Money On The Floor’.

In the public eye, Kanye has openly expressed frustration over Nicki Minaj’s refusal to approve the use of her verse on the song ‘New Body,’ reported by NME. The song is several years old and was originally intended for Kanye’s shelved album ‘Yandhi’.

Speculation arises whether this rights dispute may have influenced the release date of ‘Vultures.’ However, Kanye’s tendency to postpone album releases is not a new phenomenon, as witnessed with the multiple delays of ‘Donda’ in 2021.
