John Fury tipped to fight on Misfits Boxing card as Tommy Fury prepares to face KSI

John Fury is said to be eyeing up his own potential bout on an upcoming Misfits Boxing card.

The 59-year-old is expected to be in attendance at the AO Arena in Manchester this weekend, as son Tommy prepares to take on KSI in a cruiserweight bout.

A visible part of Tyson’s stunning heavyweight career too, John has never lost his enthusiasm for boxing and has a current professional record of 8-4-1.

But keen to get back into the ring once more despite his age, the opportunity is something which is said to be on the cards.

According to TalkSport’s boxing correspondent Michael Benson, conversations have already begun over a possible bout.

KSI’s manager Mams Taylor has reportedly confirmed the news, insisting that all parties are looking to make a proposed fight happen.

Just when, where and how remains to be seen, with the likelihood that Fury would have to fight here in the UK.

John famously served just five years of an 11-year prison sentence from 2010 to 2015 after gauging a man’s eye out, following a brawl at a car auction.

Forever a public part of Tyson’s entourage, he also featured heavily in the recent Netflix series: At Home With The Furys.

At 59, Fury still lives a quiet life away from the hustle and bustle and was more than often seen in his old-fashion gypsy caravan with his dog and pet parrot.

He also recent caused quite the stir at the recent press conference ahead of Tommy’s fight with KSI, throwing the table up in the air after insisting the bickering between all parties had gone on too long.
