Jake Paul targets next fight after Mike Tyson as 'Netflix Part Two' event talked up

Jake Paul has seemingly set his sights on his next opponent after Mike Tyson.

Paul, 27, is set to continue his boxing career with a controversial fight against former undisputed heavyweight champion Tyson, 57, on July 20.

The pair are scheduled to fight at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in what will be the main event of a card that will air on Netflix.

It is yet to be confirmed if the bout will be fully professional, a non-judged fight with pro rules or merely an exhibition.

The match-up has attracted plenty of criticism from leading figures in the boxing world, given the huge age gap between the two fighters.

But both men have played down concerns over the safety of the event.

While it is unclear if Tyson will pursue further fights once he has faced Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer looks set to continue his boxing career after coming up against ‘Iron Mike’.

He has already called out Ryan Garcia, who is due to face Devin Haney for the WBC super lightweight title on April 20.

While it is highly unlikely he would be able to get down to a weight to fight Garcia for the title, should he win the belt, Paul says he would be open to facing his compatriot in an exhibition bout after fighting Tyson.

Speaking to Betr, Paul said: “I think it could happen, as an exhibition probably. I think he thinks he would win and I would love to just to deflate his little 130lbs.

“Maybe Netflix Part Two.

“His footwork sucks. The more I learn about this sport… he’s fast and quick, and being doing it his whole life. But his feet are terrible.

“Flat-footed, stuck-a** fighter.”

Up first for Paul, however, is his controversial fight with Tyson – with the rules for the bout still yet to be fully confirmed.

The lack of clarity has led to speculation on social media, with one viral video even claiming that Paul call fight alongside his brother Logan as a ‘tag team’ against Tyson.

Paul has hit back at those claims, branding them “absurd”.

“It’s so sad that millions of people believe that. It’s f***ing absurd. Obviously, none of that is true,” he added.
