Jake Paul receives ruthless two-word message from Oleksandr Usyk before Mike Tyson fight

Oleksandr Usyk would like to see Jake Paul hang up his gloves for good.

Paul has made a name for himself in the boxing world by beating up ageing combat sports stars and this summer he looks to continue that trend against Mike Tyson.

The pair square off on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in a professional heavyweight bout sanctioned under the auspices of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Paul vs Tyson will be contested over eight two-minute rounds with each fighter using 14-ounce gloves, but no headgear.

Knockouts are allowed and the result will go on both of their professional records.

Usyk also has a big fight coming up although his is considerably more important.

The Ukrainian slickster boxes Tyson Fury on May 18 in the first undisputed heavyweight title fight of the four-belt era.

During a promotional day with DAZN before the blockbuster showdown, Usyk took part in a word association game and was asked for his opinion on Paul.

“Stop boxing,” he said when the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s name propped up.

Meanwhile, he was equally as harsh on Paul’s nemesis KSI, who he branded a ‘blogger’.

Serious concerns have been raised about Tyson’s health as he gears up to step back into the ring against a man 31 years his junior.

Tyson will have just celebrated his 58th birthday come fight night while Paul is in his physical prime at 27 years old.

Yet Usyk refuses to join the critics and made a surprise defence of Paul vs Tyson last month.

He told Seconds Out: “Listen, listen, it just shows. Tyson is a big, big famous man, who is well known around the world.

“Yeah, Jake Paul is young guy who won at boxing who wants to help young guys but it’s a big show.

“If people want to see the show, okay, give it to them. For me, I think it’s okay.”
