“I’ve Never Been the Same Since Then”: Suffering from Crippling Illness, 57-YO Mike Tyson Describes Life Altering Impact of His Accident After Concerned Antonio Brown’s Crucial Advice

In his prime, Mike Tyson was probably one of the most fearsome and dominating boxers to ever step his foot into the ring. One of the reasons behind his immense success in the ring is the gruesome training he put himself through. However, as is the case with many boxers, he too suffers from certain debilitating conditions. One of them is a nervous condition called sciatica. This condition was first brought to light back in 2022 when the boxing legend was spotted in a wheelchair at Miami International Airport.

The pictures of the incident shocked the fans all over the world. However, another incident took place which further aggravated his injuries. Last year, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk appeared as a guest on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson. Under his influence, the boxing legend also tried his hands on skateboarding. However, instead of going at it step by step he jumped on the skateboard immediately and ended up falling down. However, he was more scared of his wife than falling, as was apparent in the video. But the consequences are so far-reaching that it has become a regret for the boxer.

The incident that Mike Tyson regrets still to this day

Recently, NFL legend turned rapper Antonio Brown appeared on Tyson’s podcast as a guest. During one segment of the podcast, Brown suddenly asked Tyson if  he was still riding his skateboard. When Tyson didn’t hear the question, he advised him, “Man you gotta stay off skateboard.” At this point, Tyson stated that he understood the advice and added, “Yeah I f****d myself up”. Brown quickly laughed and asked about the viral video of him falling down.

To this, the boxing legend shared the deep regret he felt about his actions. He stated, “Yeah I’m f****d. I’ve never been the same since then. Never been the same, whole life’s changed since then.”

His regret towards his spur-of-the-moment action is understandable as he ended up hospitalized. However, in a rather amusing set of circumstances, Tyson stated, that there was another person in the hospital along with him. And it seems that that person had fallen off a hoverboard and ended up there.

Moreover, Brown was quick with the compliment and told Tyson, “You ate it.” However, the former champion disagreed and remarked, “Did I? I’ve never been the same brother.”
