Geri Horner broke her social media silence to wish her pal Victoria Beckham a happy 50th birthday.

The 51-year-old Spice Girl, also known as Ginger Spice, has kept clear of the spotlight after a tough few months. The singer has been by her husband Christian Horner’s side after he was accused of harassment. The dad-of-two, 50, was last month cleared of accusations of harassment made against him by a female employee by an internal inquiry.

Just hours after he was cleared, alleged flirtatious WhatsApps said to have been exchanged between Christian, the Red Bull team principal, and a female employee circulated on social media after the hundreds of screenshots were initially sent to 149 members of the F1 community.

Geri, who married Christian in 2015, hasn’t posted on social media since January but returned on April 17 to share a sweet message for her pal Posh Spice. She shared a slew of throwback photos of the two, with photos including the duo on stage, at lavish events and from photoshoots.

She captioned the post: “Happy Birthday! @victoriabeckham You’re amazing! From our Tank girl audition over 30 years ago , and you’re still shining bright ! Wishing you love & joy.” Many fans took to the comment section with wish Victoria a happy birthday while some focused on telling Geri how much they love her.

After spending several months in the headlines, with Geri flying out to Bahrain ahead of the opening grand prix in the country last month to support him, things have been dying down. Christian’s close pal has opened up about the drama and how things have been between Christian and Geri.

Bernie Ecclestone, the former Formula One chief who brought Horner into the sport to head up the then-new Red Bull team in 2005, said the scandal that started in February has been calming down and things have been good between Look At Me singer Geri and embattled team principal Horner.

Speaking to the MailOnline, 93-year-old Ecclestone declared: “It’s peace in our time. And Christian informs me everything’s fantastic with Geri.” Meanwhile, Victoria celebrated her 50th birthday with a sweet post shared with fans about her children and husband David Beckham.

She said: “As I get ready to step into 50 (in heels, of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone. Blessed, but also accomplished and deeply content. Not just of where I am as a woman, but of how far my fashion and beauty brands have come. My ambition was always to empower women and make them feel like the best version of themselves. To me, that meant trusting my instinct and never compromising on my creative vision.
