Francis Ngannou’s Intriguing Answer to the Question of a Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua Showdown.

Following Anthony Joshua’s victory over Francis Ngannou, Tyson Fury has been suggested as a possible opponent.

Francis Ngannou has shared his prediction for the heavyweight champion between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

Joshua prevailed in the second round in Saudi Arabia, sending Ngannou to the mat three times before the referee stepped in to terminate the fight in Joshua’s favor.

After 31 professional fights—25 of which ended in knockouts—the 34-year-old has won 28 of them and lost three.

Despite the fact that the 37-year-old defeated the Gypsy King in a contentious split decision in their last battle, which took place against Fury, Ngannou, a former UFC star, has lost both of his professional boxing matches. His most recent loss came against Joshua.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, who oversees Joshua’s career, stated following the fight that he would want to see his boxer face the winner of the impending heavyweight match between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, who had defeated Joshua twice.

Hearn remarked in an interview with DAZN, “I’m very proud of him because there was a lot of pressure.”

“He would face the victor of Fury vs Usyk if we won this battle. Here we have the world’s best heavyweight contender.

“Tyson Fury, please defeat Usyk so that you may have the greatest bout in sports history. He is an encouragement to young people as a warrior.

“What I predicted came to pass. Francis Ngannou was destroyed by him. I am really excited for him to defeat Tyson Fury because he is a beast.”

Although Fury acknowledges that Joshua “did absolutely fantastic” in his victory over Ngannou, he cautioned the Olympic gold medallist that facing AJ following the Gypsy King’s victory against Usyk will be a “different game.”

Ngannou is well-qualified to provide his opinion on who he believes would win if the two fighters were to square off in the ring because he has lost to both Fury and now Joshua.

And after explaining how the Watford-born boxer beat him, Ngannou said that, despite his uncertainty, he would offer the battle to Joshua right now.

After his defeat, Ngannou remarked on iFL TV, “I don’t know, I would give it to AJ for right now.”

“I believe he picked the ideal moment. Most of all, it was about the time.”

If Fury defeats Usyk, it would undoubtedly set up a highly anticipated matchup with Joshua—one that boxing fans have been waiting for a long time.
