Official confirmation has been made about the undercard of Tyson Fury’s undisputed title fight vs Oleksandr Usyk on May 18.
As part of Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season, Fury and Usyk will finally square off in the ring to determine who will become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.
After Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in March 1999, the division will once again be united by the winner of the eagerly awaited fight.

It is expected that Fury and Usyk won’t be the only heavyweights on the event given that His Excellency Turki Alalshikh enjoys big punchers.
Frank Sanchez and Agit Kabayel, two heavyweight contenders, have been added to the undercard of the fight scheduled for May 18 at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.

The confirmed undercard for Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury’s undisputed title bout has been revealed.

Agit Kabayel and Frank Sanchez, two heavyweight contenders, have been added to the undercard of the fight scheduled for May 18 at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.

On May 18, Jai Opetaia (right), who stunned Ellis Zorro with a knockout on the Day of Reckoning show in Saudi Arabia last December, will take on Mairis Briedis.
After unexpectedly defeating undefeated heavyweight contender Arslanbek Makhmudov via fourth-round knockout on the “Day of Reckoning” show in December of last year, Kabayel (24-0, 16 KOs) will be feeling confident going into the bout.
Boxing aficionados believed that Makhmudov would easily defeat Kabayel. But the heavyweight, who was born in Germany, dropped Makhmudov three times after focusing on his physique.
Sanchez (24-0, 17 KOs) enters the fight fresh off a seventh-round knockout victory over Junior Fa in December of last year. Although Fa had lost two of his previous three fights, Sanchez gave a strong showing.
On May 18, Jai Opetaia, who stunned Ellis Zorro with a knockout on the Day of Reckoning show in Saudi Arabia last December, will square off against Mairis Briedis.
In July 2022, Opetaia defeated Briedis over twelve rounds, demonstrating his superiority over the three-time cruiserweight champion. However, he needs to repeat the performance if he hopes to win the title again.
The 28-year-old Australian says he is excited to reclaim the title after losing to Zorro in December, when he was stripped of it.
In the meanwhile, Ireland’s Anthony Cacace will challenge Joe Cordina for the IBF super-featherweight title in a homecoming match.
The 32-year-old Welshman had previously defeated Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov to retain his title, and he faced Edward Vazquez in a title defense at the Casino de Monte Carlo Salle Medecin.

Moses Itauma, who had a brawl with the Gypsy King, will also be seen on the undercard.
Eddie Hearn claims that Cordina, who trains with Conor Benn under Tony Sims’s supervision, is the “greatest 130-pound fighter on the globe” and that she will support him to win.
Mark Chamberlain, who previously fought Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou on the undercard of their heavyweight bout in Riyadh, will make a return trip to Saudi Arabia to take on Joshua Oluwaseun.
Following his performance at York Hall, His Excellency personally selected Chamberlain, one of Alalshikh’s favorite boxers, to face Gavin Gwynne on the Knockout Chaos event.
Moses Itauma, who recently sparred with the Gypsy King, will also be seen on the undercard of Fury vs. Usyk. The 19-year-old sensation will take against Ilja Mazencev. She has promised to shatter Mike Tyson’s record and become the youngest world champion in history.
Isaac Lowe of England will fight Hasibullah Ahmadi at featherweight, while New Zealand Olympian David Nyika will compete against Michael Seitz at cruiserweight.
In the cruiserweight division, undefeated Robin Sirwan Safar will square up against former long-standing light heavyweight world champion Sergey Kovalev.
