David made fans laugh when he shared the names he gave his bees, and he can remember them all, really?

They have been spending lockdown at their second home in the Cotswolds.

And David Beckham appeared to be getting to grips with country living on Monday, as he shared snaps of himself collecting honey from a beehive in his garden.

The former professional footballer, 45, donned a white beekeeping suit complete with gloves and a face covering while taking part in the activity.

In one snap, David proudly held up a hive frame alongside a caption which read: ‘progress’, suggesting this wasn’t the first time he had tended to the bees.

David was with his friend Helen in another shot which he posted to his Instagram Stories, where he revealed that they were on the look out for the hive’s Queen Bee.

Helen was also appropriately dressed in protective clothing.

It comes after David took to social media to share an update on the bee hives he has constructed at the family’s country pile.

He took to his Instagram story with a snapshot of the DIY apiary before triumphantly stating that there was ‘progress’.

Earlier this month Victoria gave fans yet another insight into family life as she filmed husband getting to work building bee hives.

The father-of-four was in the zone as he put the hives together in the garden, with Victoria explaining: ‘David decided to start building bee hives. Is that your new project darling?’

David replied: ‘It is. You’ll be very happy when we’ve got our own honey.’

Over the weekend, the family welcomed son Brooklyn, 21, home after he spent the coronavirus lockdown in New York with girlfriend Nicola Peltz, 25.

Victoria, 46, took to Instagram with a sweet snap of her eldest son on Monday.

Brooklyn cut a casual figure as he donned a white T-shirt and backwards baseball cap for the impromptu photoshoot.

He looked toward the sunset as he knelt in a field of wheat against a backdrop of a clear blue sky.

Victoria uploaded the snap alongside a caption that read: ‘So happy to have @brooklynbeckham home with us.

‘We have missed you so much!! kisses @nicolaannepeltz x VB.’

Brooklyn himself had previously marked his return home as he shared a picture of himself reuniting with one of the family’s pet dog Fig.

And he also joined his parents in the the latest Clap For Carers to mark the 72nd birthday of the NHS on Sunday night.

In a video uploaded to Instagram, David knelt on the ground as Brooklyn, Harper, Romeo, Cruz and Victoria huddled around him.
