David Beckham hand-picked Lionel Messi’s bodyguard, an MMA fighter and former US soldier

Lionel Messi’s bodyguard’s identity has been exposed after he recently went viral.

Messi led Inter Miami to a second cup final on Wednesday night, extending his astonishing, undefeated run.

The Herons tied 3-3 with FC Cincinnati in 120 minutes before winning 5-4 on penalties to advance to the US Open Cup final against Houston Dynamo.

Fans noticed the bodyguard dashing down the touchline to be close to the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner as he rushed over to celebrate with his colleagues.

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham is alleged to have personally picked Chueko, a former US soldier.

He is thought to be an ex-Navy Seal who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, but he also has substantial MMA experience.

In Thailand, he won his first professional bout in the opening round, finishing in 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Chueko is skilled in several martial arts and routinely shares footage of himself training on his Instagram account, which has 113,000 followers, including Messi and Sergio Ramos.

Rodrigo De Paul has long been described as Messi’s personal bodyguard, but Chueko has taken over as his primary protection, and you wouldn’t want to offend him.
