David Beckham caused controversy when he took his children to experience earthquake life

DAVID and Victoria Beckham appear to be having the best time on holiday in Bali as they continue to posts snaps to their

Instagram accounts after they were caught up in a devastating earthquake which hit Indonesia at the weekend.

David, 43, and Victoria, 44, have been enjoying a sun-soaked getaway in Bali with their four children, Brooklyn, 19, Romeo 15, Cruz 12, and Harper seven.

They flew to the stunning location on Saturday morning, just hours before a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck neighbouring island Lombok.

The family now seem to be in high spirits as they shared an insight into their lavish break with pictures of their adventures on social media.

In one photo uploaded to Instagram, Romeo can be seen perched on the edge of a swimming pool with his dad pointing at him.

David displayed his incredible array of tattoos in the photo and wore a brown hat along with square-framed sunglasses.

Victoria also shared a video to her Instagram story of the family enjoying a family dinner.

The couple’s offspring, Harper, Brooklyn and Cruz could be seen hitting each other on the head with their spoons during their evening out.

Victoria joked with her husband that their children were wasting their private eduction.

She wrote on the clip: “@DavidBeckham How much did we pay for private education?” The fashion designer then followed the post with a video of them learning about Balinese cuisine.

“Cooking lesson in Bali,” she wrote on the clip. Filming her daughter get involved in the cooking, Victoria added: “Harper loves to cook! (She gets it from me!!)”

The former Spice Girls band member also shared a snap of herself cuddling her daughter and wrote: “Good night kisses x.”

The famous family were around 60 miles from the epicentre when the earthquake hit on Sunday, according to The Sun.

The couple’s children are reported to have been left shaken by the earthquake but were all unharmed. A source told the publication: “They certainly felt the earthquake

“The children, especially, were a little bit shaken but they are all fine. Their thoughts are obviously with the victims.”

As aftershocks continue to strike Indonesia, the death toll has climbed to 347, according to government news agency Antara.

The figure is expected to keep rising as rescue efforts continue.
