David Beckham attracted attention with his move to support coach Erik ten Hag under pressure of being fired

MU’s poor performance recently increased the pressure on coach Erik ten Hag. The Dutch captain is at risk of being fired. Man Utd fans are also losing patience with Ten Hag.

Besides, there are still many opinions expressing sympathy for the Dutch coach.

David Beckham recently spoke out in support of the current coach of Man Utd on the launch day of the documentary “99” – a film about MU’s historic treble in the 1998/1999 season.

TalkSPORT channel quoted Beckham’s statement: “We all know that Erik ten Hag is a coach who has proven his ability. He is capable and has the right way of playing.

But to be fair, at the time I was playing, MU was led by coach Alex Ferguson and supporting him were assistants like Eric Harrison and Jim Ryan.

Those are the people who motivate MU players to compete. I think it was luck for the Man Utd team when I was playing.

To be honest, you always wish the coach wouldn’t have to do too much work on a team. As a MU player, every position must play with high determination and motivation.

Any professional player must play with the highest determination no matter who the opponent is. Otherwise, that player chose the wrong team or the wrong sport.”

Also according to information from talkSPORT, Erik ten Hag will still lead MU, at least until the FA Cup final with Man City at the end of May.
