David and Victoria Beckham had a shocking reaction after Tom Cruise shared his feelings when receiving an “olive branch” from them.

Tom Cruise is happy to be grab the “olive branch” offered by David and Victoria Beckham after he got an invite to fashion designer’s birthday bash last month.

A source spilled the National Enquirer, Tom “was thrilled to get an invite to Victoria’s 50th birthday bash” on April 20 in London.

The Top Gun star’s reunion with Beckhams happened after a decade even though there were no plans of reconciliation.

“Tom had pretty much given up hope they’d ever be friends ever again,” dished an insider.

Earlier, Tom and David “were inseparable” when the former football star and former Spice Girls band member wife first moved to Los Angeles in 2007 after signing with the Galaxy soccer team.

However, the source alleged that the Beckhams soon backed off after Tom used his pressure tactics to get them to join his Scientology religion.

“He came on way too strong and wouldn’t take no for an answer. They essentially ghosted him — and Tom was very bitter!” revealed an insider.

Interestingly, the tipster mentioned, “Tom did everything for them when they first moved to LA. He practically gave them the keys to the city.”

“He threw them a party to meet everyone important — and the moment they were established they chucked him!” noted an insider.

The source pointed out that an invite to Victoria’s star-studded bash was the grand gesture Tom had been seeking!

“Tom grabbed the olive branch with both hands,” said an insider.

The source added, “Now he plans on building things back up and sees it as a passport into Posh and Becks’ U.K. cool club!”
