Carl Froch has revealed some shocking details that he’s heard about Mike Tyson’s pay for the Jake Paul fight.
‘Iron Mike’ returns to the ring for the first time in nearly four years when last time out he faced Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout.
Despite the 30 year age-gap between Tyson and Paul the fight is a professionally sanctioned contest with knockouts permitted.
And former super-middleweight world champion, Carl Froch has revealed that Tyson will shockingly get paid LESS if he knocks out Jake Paul.
Froch said when speaking to safebettingsites : “From what I’m hearing with the contracts, allegedly, he gets paid less if he wins in round one, Tyson, or if he gets a knockout he gets paid even less.
There’s restrictions in his contract based on how he wins. I don’t know if it’s been confirmed, but I’ve read somewhere that there’s a clause in his contract that means he’s going to earn less money if he goes out there and destroys Jake Paul.”
Mike Tyson takes on Jake Paul on July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
