Brooklyn Beckham looks sporty in a graphic T-shirt and shorts as he leaves the gym in Los Angeles

Brooklyn Beckham put on a sporty display as he departed his gym in Los Angeles on Friday.

The son of former professional footballer David Beckham and Spice Girl Victoria, 24, wore an oversized graphic T-shirt with Houston scrawled across this chest.

He teamed the vintage-inspired number with a pair of baggy black shorts, pulling his socks up high.

Brooklyn was seen as he took a phone call in the car park before hopping into his 4×4.

Like his famous dad, he is known to enjoy a workout and often shares videos of himself training.

Earlier in the day, Brooklyn unveiled his latest cooking hack for his Instagram followers.

In the video, the aspiring chef gave fans a lesson on how to crack a coconut.

As he smashed the huge coconut with a knife, Brooklyn awkwardly suffered a blunder and spilt the coconut milk all over his kitchen counter-top.

Brooklyn swiftly moved the coconut over the bowl to catch the rest of the milk and ignored the spillage.

He has used his Instagram platform as a launchpad for a career as an aspiring celebrity chef, however he has frequently been met with mirth from scathing critics about his videos.

His cooking has come under fire in the past as many have slammed either his simple recipes, use of pricey ingredients or bandied around accusations of nepotism.

In a new interview with Insider, Brooklyn insisted he is not fazed by the criticism as he knows himself he is ‘working his bum off’ and ‘cooking makes him happy’.

He said: ‘To be honest, I’m used to the hate. It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me… I’m doing my thing and working my bum off’.

Speaking to the publication, Brooklyn said: ‘To be honest, I’m used to the hate. It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me…

‘My message to them is to keep writing whatever they want to write. There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down.

‘I’m doing my thing and working my bum off. So they can keep writing what they want, but it’s not going to bother me — I’m just going to keep doing my thing’.

It comes after his mother Victoria gave a shocking response when she was asked about becoming a grandmother.

She was left gobsmacked after a Vogue Interview on last week with ‘The Run Through’ co-host Chloe Malle.

During a chat about her son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, Victoria revealed that she does not like to offer relationship advice.

But when Chloe asked if the fashion designer was excited to become a ‘Gramma’, Victoria was shocked and dramatically like the prospect of being a grandmother was brand new information.

Victoria was floored by the suggestion that Brooklyn was having a baby with Nicola and delivered the awkwardly animated response: ‘Oh. Jesus. What? Woo. Hang on.’

The model then used her hand to fan her face before turning to the audience and stating: ‘I don’t think it’s happening just yet unless you guys know something I don’t.’

Once she finally regained composure, Victoria said: ‘If I am blessed, then that would be wonderful.’

Then she returned to fanning her face again and dramatically reiterating that ‘we are not there yet.’
