Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz took to Instagram to announce the tragic and ‘unexpected’ death of beloved pet chihuahua Nala on Saturday.

The eldest son of David and Victoria, 25, shared an emotional tribute to his grid swiftly followed by his actress, 29, who said ‘life couldn’t get any worse’ amid her grief following the death of late grandmother Bunny last month. 

Nicola explained how Nala, who she adopted from a shelter, struggled to breathe  and had to be rushed to the vets where she sadly died.

Penning: ‘This has been the hardest month of my life. I can’t even find the words to describe my heartbreak on so many levels. Nala was hyperventilating and couldn’t catch her breath’.

‘We rushed her to the vet and she passed hours later, her life was taken away from her way too soon. She was my beautiful queen and stayed by my side for 9 years through everything’.

Before adding: ‘1 day without Nala on earth feels like an eternity. I wishI could have her back in my arms. I pray she’s with my Naunni. I hope I see them soon’.

‘You were the cutest little baby girl and we will always think of you. We know you are looking and barking down on us x We love you so much and miss you beyond’.

The animal loving couple, who wed in a lavish $3.5 million ceremony in April 2022,  also own a white puppy named Lamb after losing dog Bear in August last year. 

Last month Brooklyn shared a sweet tribute to Nicola’s late grandmother Bunny as he posted an album of memories to Instagram. 

Bunny was Nicola’s maid of honour at their wedding in 2022 and she passed away aged 95.

In the post he thanked the elder, whom the family also called Naunni, for teaching him how to ‘find the joy in everything’ and ‘making everyone smile’.

Posting an array of touching moments between the two of them, Brooklyn  promised to take care of her granddaughter and confessed it was an ‘honour’ to be her grandson for four years.

The album consisted of many loving memories between the two, including videos attending church, playing games together and riding a golf cart.

Sharing the tribute to his 16.4million followers, he penned: ‘Naunni thank you for being you.

‘You were the sweetest and happiest person ever and you taught me to find joy in everything. Thank you for always making everyone smile, you made everyone’s whose lives you touched infinitely better.

‘I’m so lucky to have had the honour of being your grandson for the past 4 years x I promise to take care of Nicola and your family x I will miss you so much x I love you so much xxxxxxx’.

‘Today, we lost my angel on earth,’ Bradley — who, along with Nicola, is the son of billionaire Nelson Peltz — wrote in the caption.

‘She was not only the happiest but one of my favorite souls I ever came across. She was the light that would brighten your day,’ he went on.

‘Her heart was so big that you could feel it when she smiled, and in turn make you smile. May her soul rest in peace and in paradise in heaven. I love you Bunny.’
