The official scorecards from Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk have angered boxing fans.

On Saturday, all eyes were on the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as Fury and Usyk entered the ring to fight for the undisputed crown.

During what was an entertaining encounter, Usyk nearly toppled the Brit in the ninth round but Fury was saved by the sound of the bell.

Eventually, the fight went the full distance with Usyk winning via a split decision, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the world since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

After the bout, the official scorecards were revealed, with judge Manuel Oliver Palomo scoring it 115-112 in favour of Usyk, Craig Metcalfe awarded the fight to Fury 114-113 and Mike Fitzgerald scoring the contest 114-113 for Usyk.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “Outrageous scorecards again. Never a split decision in a million years. Thank God Usyk got the decision.”

Another tweeted: “Fury never won round 2 & 12 they tried to rob Usyk but failed.”

A third fan added: “Usyk robbed it should have been a majority decision, if itvwas in the UK he would have been robbed 100%.”
