In an interview with CR Fashion Book last year, Nicola revealed that her friendship with Angela sparked inspiration for her upcoming independent drama film Lola James.

She said: ‘A lot of it is based on real life characters and then a lot of it is also fiction. Raven Goodman, who plays my best friend Babina in the movie, she’s based off of my best friend in real life named Angela. Their friendship is a lot like me and my best friend.’

Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Nicola have both adopted Peltz as their middle names since their marriage – with the pair now known as Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham.

Nicola and Brooklyn were married in an early evening ceremony in one of three massive tented structures constructed on the sprawling ocean front lawn of father Nelson’s $103million compound in Palm Beach, Florida.

Guests including tennis legend Serena Williams, TV chef Gordon Ramsay and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria could clearly be seen enjoying cocktails.

Nicola’s dress included a message from her mother, former model Claudia Peltz, that the Valentino team stitched into the wedding gown using blue thread. Claudia wore custom Versace.

Adir Abergel, who styled her hair, said Brigitte Bardot’s half ponytails also served as an inspiration.

‘It was all about keeping her hair beautiful, soft and smooth,’ he said. ‘Think luxe, polished texture, but with fullness and movement to it.’

He also took her hair color lighter and brighter ahead of the big day.

Chanel make-up artist Kate Lee told Vogue she was inspired by the bride’s natural beauty.

The dress was the result of a year’s worth of conversations with Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s team; two trips to Rome; and two U.S. fittings.

Valentino’s head seamstresses traveled to Miami to ensure the dress was perfect on Saturday.
