Joshua is riding the crest of a wave after stunning Francis Ngannou in the pair’s heavyweight clash earlier this year, knocking out the former MMA star in the second round of their highly-anticipated clash.

The Brit threw himself back into the conversation for a world title fight next up, and had seemingly been set to face the winner of Tyson Fury’s bout with Oleksandr Usyk.

That fight will take place on May 18, leaving Joshua seemingly waiting to find out his next opponent and seal a deal to fight in one of the biggest boxing bouts of all time in an undisputed fight.

Speaking to iFL TV, however, Chisora claimed to know the details of AJ’s next bout, and said that it won’t be against Fury or Usyk.

‘Whoever wins it’s big for me,’ he said earlier this year. ‘If AJ wins, it’s a good opportunity for a big British showdown again, and if Ngannou wins, and it’s a good opportunity for a rematch for me.

‘So it’s, it’s a win win for me. Yeah, make no mistake that the winner of this, I will potentially give them a world title shot later on in this year or next’.
