Amir Khan holds nothing back with bold Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight prediction

Amir Khan has sent a warning to Jake Paul as the former professional boxer has held nothing back when reacting to the shocking news Mike Tyson would be facing the YouTuber turned-boxer.

The announcement of the fight came last week and sent shockwaves through the combat sports community as the unprecedented bout was confirmed.

The event will be shown live on Netflix, with the streaming giant set to broadcast the event from the AT&T Stadium on July 20th.

The controversial fight has divided those in the boxing world, and former lightweight unified champion Amir Khan is the latest to make a comment on the matter.

Speaking to Gambling Zone, the 37-year-old said: “The fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, wow, no one would have ever expected a fight like that fight to be made. Mike Tyson is a legend of the game and not someone who you want to mess about with, even though he’s older now and has been retired for a long time, he’s obviously done a few exhibitions.”

While many have criticised Paul for taking a fight with a nearly 60-year-old while he is in his physical prime, Khan has taken the opposing view and sent a brutal warning to the YouTube star.

“I just feel that he can really hurt Jake Paul. I just can’t believe what Jake Paul’s thinking. He’s fighting a heavyweight great and I think he can get hurt badly,” Khan explained.

“Is it just hype with Mike and Jake posting it at the same? This is unreal and I hope that Mike doesn’t end up hurting him because at the end of the day, I like Jake, but Mike is not a person you want to mess with or do an exhibition with, especially when you’re a lot smaller and lighter.

“I don’t know how this is going to go. Is it really going to happen? It amazes me and I’m shocked.

“I’ve got Mike Tyson winning by knockout. Even though he’s in his fifties, he’s still a dangerous guy not to be messed with,” The Brit reiterated.
