Uplands School in Wiltshire is a coeducational boarding school known for its academic excellence where George could become the first heir to break tradition and attend a mixed gender secondary school.

There was also speculation Princess Catherine would want her alma mater, Marlborough College, to educate her eldest son. However, its image may no longer be the right fit as it attracts an increasingly global elite crowd. “Marlborough has become a more jet-set school, with many parents owning villas in Italy or chalets in Verbier,” a palace insider noted. “That isn’t Catherine’s style – she prefers understated wealth.”
