Prince Harry’s memoir reportedly reveals Prince William’s four-word response upon learning of Meghan Markle’s pregnancy.

Meghan’s pregnancy with their first son, Archie, was announced in late 2018, a few months after the couple’s Windsor wedding. Harry reportedly discloses in his book Spare that the couple shared their joyous pregnancy news at Princess Eugenie’s wedding in October 2018.

The memoir is also said to reveal William’s reaction when he learned he was going to be an uncle, reports the Mirror. Hello! Magazine reports Harry told his brother the news during a reception at Windsor Castle, and William responded exactly as Harry had expected, saying “we must tell Kate”.

The book also reportedly claims King Charles was thrilled to learn he would become a grandfather for the fourth time.

Other revelations in Harry’s memoir include his admission he ate a Nando’s meal brought to the hospital by his bodyguards while Meghan was in labour with Archie.

He also reportedly shares details about delivering Lilibet, her first meeting with the Queen, and how the late monarch was delighted by Archie’s attempt at a Royal bow.

Meghan welcomed Archie to the world in May 2019 at London’s private Portland Hospital, breaking Royal tradition by choosing not to participate in the customary ‘hospital steps’ photo session.

Prince Harry unexpectedly addressed the media outside Windsor Castle following Archie’s birth, lavishing praise on his wife. He said: “I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy.

“I haven’t been at many births. This is definitely my first birth – it was amazing, absolutely incredible.”

He added: “I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. And as every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing.”
